Prophet Mohammad ( Peace Be upon Him )
Prophet Mohammad ( pbuh ) is the best example of how a HUMAN should be.
He was generous.
He was compassionate.
He was trust worthy.
He was honest.
He was simple.
He was never selfish.
And he loved EVERYONE.
Alhamdu lillah ( praise be to Allah ) we are the people of Mohammad ( pbuh )
He taught us a lot of things that we could do in our life and make it worth liveing.
Allah created us because HE wanted to. Then why should we live a life without Allah, our creators approval ?
We are eventually going to meet our Lord on the Day of Resurrection after all. Insha Allah.
So our lifes goal should be to make HIM happy and proud of us.
The Prophet Mohammad ( pbuh ) taught us a lottt like :
# Every person should be treated well no matter how they treat you, even though at times its easier said than done but trying our best wont harm us now, would it?
After a while the person himslf/herslf will feel ashamed of their actions towards us.
The neighbor of the Prophet Mohammad ( pbuh ) used to throw garbage at him whenever he walked by, he would never say anything to her, not even shout or scream at her. One day while walking out, he realised that the old women didnt come to throw garbage at him, but instead of being happy and glade he became worried. He went to the old ladies house and came to know that she was sick. He greeted her and wished her good health before leaving. The old lady was then ashamed of her treatment towards him. And thereafter she stopped throwing garbage at him.
( oh the main reason for her throwing garbage at him was that, that she didnt like him spreading the word of Allah around )
# When someone we know gets sick shouldnt we go and wish them with good health ? When i am sick and my friends and relatives come to see me and wish and pray for my good health i feel good.
Going and seeing a sick friend, relative or neighbor even for 5 mins for the sake of Allah will not only make you feel good about yourself and increase your respect in others eyes but it would also be rewarded by Allah.
The Prophet Mohammad ( pbuh ) used to go and visit the sick. He would say that the distance you cover from where ever you are to the sick persons place, is measured and that much reward you would get.
# A husband has a duty towards his wife. He should look at her with love, care for her and treat her well. He is her PROTECTOR, her PROVIDER, and her COMPANION.
He should never take ALL THAT ^ for granted.
Be good with your wife, she is your other half after all. You and your religion is incomplete without her.
The Prophet Mohammad ( pbuh ) had 9 wives. Some scholars say he had 11 wives too but the number is still doubtful.
There were many reasons for him to take more than one bride.
. He would marry widowed women whom other men, single men wouldnt prefer marrying.
He would do that because those women didnt have anyone to provide for them.
