Do It The Halal Way

'Ok so this Muslim girl and I have been dating for about two years. We both are religious and we both have strict families. However, because we are both young we did not tell our parents. So her and I both were doing things behind our parent's back. Because we were always scared of getting caught by our parents and the community it just became stressful, we ended up getting into fights and arguing all the time. So last week I finally said I had enough. I want the parents to know! So I told my parents what has been happening And they said ok we will talk to her parents. So two days ago my parents went to her house and spoke with her parents! Her parents agreed to let me marry her!!!! I am beyond excited! The entire time me and my "girlfriend" were doing things haraam when we could have just gone and asked our parents! Brothers and sisters don't be afraid of marriage. Don't be afraid to do it the hallal way! Wallahi the feeling of having both parents know is indescribable! It is like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders! The hallal way will always bring happiness and the haraam way will always bring sadness!
