C.11 (part two)

Everybody was in the waiting room sitting, waiting to hear something back from a doctor. Antonio got his wrist stitched, and wrapped up and Antoine is in the back getting work done on him.

Antonio sat with his head down crying and cussing to himself. Ayla was crying thinking it's all her fault because if she had waiting for them to get from the locker room  like Antonio had asked her to then this whole situation could have been avoided.

Natasha was hugging Kayla rubbing her back as she cried on her shoulder and Ky'La and Ky'Lin both sat on Kin'Ni's lap cuddled up,  both sleep.  "Toni.." Kin'Ni whispered to him." Antonio slowly lifted his head up revealing his blood shot red, and puffy eyes and red face. "Call dad and tell him."

"I lost my phone." He said lowly. Ky'Lin pulled out his phone and dialed his dad's number.

"You have reached the-"

He hung up the phone and just laid his head on the wall. He called again, and again, and again. He still didn't answer. "Forget It!" He said loudly drawing attention to himself.

"Ma.. Have you spoke to dad?"

"She tried to call him but he wouldn't answer." Natasha spoke for Kayla. "We don't need him. We good." Antonio spoke. "What's the point of telling him? What's he gonna do? Fly down here?... For us?" He started laughing. "We not Keelen. Get that our yal head. We'll never be him. We know better than to be like him. If it wasn't for him his friend wouldn't age done the shit he did."

"Watch your mouth boy." Natasha said. "And Keelen's friend?"

"Yeah... I seen him at our house before with him."

"What's he look like?"

"I'd have to see him again to give a good description.. Leave it alone. He's going to get his. Don't get any police involved. If they ask we was just running home from ball practice to get his inhaler and he got shot."

"Hey." They looked up and seen Trey. "I heard on the news and I came down as soon as I could. Y'all good? How's Toine?" He asked Antonio

He shrugged. "He stopped breathing."

Trey walked over to Kayla and bent down to where they was facing each other. "Kayla." He put his hand on her arm. She took her hand off her face and seen it was him so she covered it back up. Trey shook his head. "Excuse me." He said to Natasha and grabbed Kayla's hand even though she refused to get up he took her to a nearby area where no one was at to sat and talk to her.

"Baby girl. You good?" He asked. She shook her head 'no'.

"Oh My God! Trey Songz!!" Some girls came to him. "Can we get-"

He shook his head and shooed them away. "Trey ca-"

"Can y'all get out my face, please. I'm talking." He said getting mad. The girls snapped a picture and went away. "Kayla." He rubbed her leg. "What happened?"

"Antoine got shot and had a asthma and panic attack." She cried. She couldn't stop.

"He's gonna be okay!" He tried to comfort her. "It's all gonna be good.".

"No It's Not! You Don't Know What It's Like, Trey! You have NO fucking idea. You know what it's like to have one of your kids go to prison until their damn near  forty, or have the person you loved just want to walk away from you. You don't have kids y-"

"But i've been considering the triplets as mine since they've been born. You want to know why every year on they birthday you mysteriously get money in the mail labeled 'to the trips, happy birthday'... Bet you didn't even know that was me. Going out my pocket sending them a thousand dollars a piece. I've been doing it since they was about three.. Even when you hated me because I was an asshole. Even when you was missing. I was with you through that whole pregnancy and I been fell in love with them babies since the day they were born. I even loved Anthony like he was my own when he was younger I'm here right now too if that means anything, where's they biological daddy at? God works miracles.. You just have to believe and be patient.  And i don't know, huh? You walked away fr-.. You know what? Just don't tell me shit about me not knowing how you feel. I may not know exactly HOW you feel but I have a drift of it. I love them damn kids too, why you trying to be a smart ass.." He stood up and walked away from her.

"Trey.." She called after him. He ignored her and went and sat beside Antonio and started talking to him. He finally got him to laugh and smile. Ky'Lin woke up too see Trey and got happy so he went, sat on his lap and started playing with his facial hair and talked to him.
