Chapter 20

CHAPTER 20

ANDEE'S POV

I watch Harry stand up and leave the dining room and I can't help the sinking feeling that hits my stomach. I know how much Anne and her opinion means to him and her reaction must have hurt him a lot...

I look at all of the food left out and decide that putting it away is the least I can do. I wash all of the dishes and put away all of the food and the whole I time I feel a pull towards Harry's room. I know I need to comfort him and I need to be here for him in this situation.

I turn the lights off downstairs and slowly climb the stairs, the pull getting stronger the longer it takes me. I open the door quietly just in case he's asleep, the timid part of me hoping that that is true. I see him sitting in the chair by the window, just staring out at the darkening sky. He's pulled his hair back into a bun and I have to take a minute to calm myself down, I've always loved manbuns.

Get your hormones under control Andee...

I sigh loudly and shut his door louder than I opened it so he knows I'm here without saying it. I see him glance over his shoulder slightly but he looks away again. I walk slowly up behind him and put a hand on his shoulder.

"You okay?" I whisper, why am I whispering?

He doesn't say anything, just lets out a big sigh. He wraps an arm around my waist and pulls me in front of him. I sit on his lap and he hugs me tightly. I hug him back even tighter, trying to show him that it will be okay.

I lay my cheek on top of his head and he squeezes me tighter before loosening his arms, they rest around my waist as he rests his head on my chest. I run a hand up and down his back to try and soothe him.

"Do you want to talk about it?" I ask and he shakes his head against my chest before loosening on arm and moving it around to the front of my body, putting his hand on the little bump resting between us. I can't help the smile that comes to my face as he keeps his hand there, rubbing slightly. I put my hand on top of his and he looks up at me before leaning up and connecting out lips in a short sweet kiss that quickly turns to a passionate one. My arms wrap around his neck and his around my waist tightly before he pulls away and puts our foreheads together.

"Do you want to go to bed?" I whisper and he nods. I stand from his lap and I shamelessly watch him undress to just his boxers and I continue watching him until he is situated under the covers, facing the wall. I know he's not upset with me but I feel so bad for him right now. I change quickly and climb in behind him. He's facing away from me so I snuggle up behind him and wrap my hand around his tattooed bicep and kiss his shoulder. I hear him sigh and he finally turns around. His hand moves up to my face and his thumb strokes my cheek.

"We're going to have a you and me day tomorrow, we're going to have so much fun." I smile encouragingly up at him and he finally breaks a smile, laughing at my enthusiasm. I lean up and kiss his lips quickly before snuggling into his chest.

When I wake up Harry's lips are lightly pressed against my ear, his soft snores tickling my skin. His arm is draped over my body and I smile at the thought that he pulls me close even in his sleep.

I glance over at the clock on the bedside table and notice that it's almost nine o'clock.

"Harry..." I whisper and I hear him mumble a little, I fight back a giggle and try again. "Harry" I say louder.

I turn in his arms until I'm facing him. I kiss his lips quickly and watch his eyelids flutter and he mumbles again.

"Harry are you ready for our fun day?" I whisper in his ear before kissing his cheek. I continue to kiss closer and closer to his mouth and when I hit the corner of his lips he moves quickly and catches me off guard by attaching our lips in a passionate kiss. I giggle and I feel him shake with laughter. I pull away smiling and he does the same.
