"luke? what are you doing?" i grab his hands

"hey, hey, hey, chill" he chuckled and turned me around

"you gave me a heart attack" i sighed

"im sorry" he kissed my nose. i blushed and looked down. he hugged me and i hugged him back.

"jerry are you done ye- oh hey luke" mikey came from around the corner and said the last part through his clenched teeth

"hi mikey" luke smiled and let me go.

i looked from luke and michael, they were communicating through their eyes.

"jerry lets go" he held out his hand

"o-ok" i walked away from luke and took michaels hand.

"see ya at school" luke said and i heard him walk away

"he cant know about the bet okay?" michael whispered

"okay" i nod

"attention all shoppers, we have just been notified that the storm will be over in approximately than 30 minutes." the announcer spoke

"yay" i hug michael.

"do you want to read that book or do you want to walk around some more?" he pointed to the blue book in my hand.

"i forgot i had it, i can probably read it in 30 minutes, if you dont want to buy it" i shrug

"well i dont so hurry up and read" he chuckled

"okay, okay" i giggle and open up the book to the first page.

"attention all shoppers, the storm has lightened up, the doors are opening" the announcer finally said.

"are you done reading?" michael asked

"yep" i closed the book

"can you put this back up there?" i hand him the book and point to the empty space between a red book and a black one. he effortlessly put the book back to its place and we walked back to our shopping cart.

he pushed it to the check out line and we waited until the people in front of us were finished getting their items check out.
