i look up and surely as i expected, it was luke.

"whats with all the make up, and why are you here? arent you suppose to be tutoring michael? did calum make you come here?" he spat out questions nervously

"i-my mum is uh out and calum wanted to go to this party so i came along." i stutter, why am i nervous all of a sudden?

"is michael here?" he questions more. i havent even answered his other ones!

"yes i am here, what do you want?" i heard michaels voice from behind me.

"i was just, asking her stuff" luke shrugs

"luke!" i heard a girl yell drunkenly. the girl came from behind luke and saw me, then frowned. there were only 3 rooms in this hallway and then at the end, theres another right turn. this place is like a maze.

i walk back to michael slowly. this is weird.

"wait-jerry!" luke called out

michael glared at luke and wrapped his arm around my waist protectively.

"i just wanted a unoccupied couch" i pout

"i know where theres literally no one is" he smiles

"really? where?" i gasp

"its all the way, upstairs" he frowned

i groan and he leads me out of the hallway, back to the main staircase. we walk up the stairs, sometimes squeezing through strangers.

"the great thing is, you can slide down the railings easily" he gave me a thumbs up. i rolled my eyes and kept walking up the stairs

i then finally saw the end of the stairs. finally! we walked up and saw 3 hallways, leading to different areas. where do i even go!

"follow me so you dont get lost" michael chuckles and takes my smaller hand in his bigger one

"you have small hands" he holds up my hand

"no, youre just a giant" i roll my eyes. after 2 right turns and 1 left one, there was a balcony with lounge chairs. i ran through the door way, and to the more comfortable looking lounge chair and sat on it. michael chuckled and sat on the other one

"heres some peace and quiet" i sigh

"its amazing isnt it?" he chuckles

"how do you know where this is?" i ask out of curiosity. how could he know where this was?

"i come here after i fuc- caniva showed me" he caught himself. what was her gonna say? i dont have a clue.
