*Alex's POV*

"Good morning, Alex." I heard as I groaned, squinting my eyes at the lightning hitting my face. I opened one of my eye and noticed Mike was leaned over, his arms in front of me as he smiled, noticing I had woken up.

"When did you wake up? And what's the time?" I asked, my voice harsh and I turned over, trying to look for my phone to check the time. I heard Mike's soft voice speak, "well, I woke up very early, probably around ten am and now it's like twelve pm."

"Why'd you wake up so early? And you could've woken me up earlier, you know." I sighed and stood up, running a hand down my face and Mike sat at the end of the bed, looking down as he frowned.

"Well. I had nightmares and couldn't sleep, and the reason why I didn't wake you up was because you looked so peaceful and didn't want to wake you up. Plus, I know you had slept at four am."

I nodded my head and stood up, "get ready. We're going out to eat, alright? We missed breakfast so let's go out and eat whatever we stumble across to." I walked to the bathroom, closing the door behind me. I heard Mike's footsteps walking around from the other side of the door. I looked at myself in the mirror, groaning when noticing my curly hair was everywhere and sticking out in every direction. I brushed my teeth and did my business, and got out. I noticed Mike sitting on the bed, scrolling through his phone. I inhaled a deep breath and took my luggage out, looking for clothes.

"Mike-" I turned around, and he looked up eagerly, "here's some clothes for you. You've been wearing the same clothes for like two days. Feel free to take mine."

"Oh, no. It's okay, I can live like this." He shook his head as he declined my offer. I rolled my eyes and threw my clothes onto his face, making me laugh as he giggled. "Thank you, Alex. Really. I don't deserve this."

"You do." I perked my lips and changed to my other clothes, not caring if Mike was looking or not, I just wanted to quickly get some food because I was starving. I turned my head, seeing as Mike had put his shirt on. I walked over to the door, and opened it.

"Wait, the key." I heard Mike shout. I tapped my foot against the surface of the floor and waited for him, crossing my arms across my chest and watched him as he stumbled whilst walking, making me smile. He was so cute. He finally walked over to me, lazily smiling at me, holding up the key. He slid it inside his pocket and we made our way to the lift. I pressed the button and I heard Mike humming out a song.

"Do you sing?" I asked randomly as we stepped inside the lift. He pressed the button to go down and I looked at him, waiting for an answer. He hesitated before looking up at me, "I love singing. I always sing in my spare time. Even better, I sing whilst drawing. It's my passion."

I smiled, "that sounds nice. Sing for me once?" I wiggled my eyebrows as I nudged his arm, making him laugh and push me away gently.

"Maybe one day, when I have the confidence."

"More like never." I joked and he laughed. The lift doors opened and both of us walked out, passing the hallway and out. The cold air made my hair whip, making my eye twitch as the hair had hit me in the eye. Ouch. Mike had seen it and muffled his laughter in.

"My eye hurts." I mumbled as I rubbed it, making Mike burst out laughing. His laugh was so contagious, it made me laugh. We were both laughing idiotically, making some strangers glare at us. We started to make our way down the pavement, looking for a cheap place to eat.

"When will we go back home?" Mike asked as he kicked a rock from under his shoe. I watched as the rock flew out, landing on near a trash. I sighed and looked up at the bright sky.

"Well, I don't know. Depends." I shrugged my shoulders as I shoved my hands inside my pockets, looking down.

"Won't your parents be worried? Aren't you worried what will happen?" Mike asked as his huge eyes watched me. I perked my lips and looked up, looking as the cars passed swiftly and trees swaying to the wind. Students, strangers, families, couples, humans, everyone, walked past the busy street, some talking in the corner of the shop, some getting in and out of shops, people talking..

"I honestly don't care." I shook my head, watching my feet as they took huge steps. I looked at Mike's shoes. They were black, with zips on them.

"Look, there's a small restaurant there. Not too fancy and not too big." I heard Mike speak. I looked up from the ground and followed my eyes at where Mike was pointing with his pale finger. My face beamed at the sight. It looked cosy and nice, so we decided to go there. When we were going to pass the road. I made sure to grip on Mike's cold hands. I felt him tense as we walked across the road. I let go off his hand as we had reached the other side. I pushed the door and we entered the restaurant, making the bell jiggle as we did so.

"Hello." A lady had shoved her head into our noses, smiling at us as she grabbed her own hands, "welcome, would you like a seat for two?"

"Yes, please." I spoke up and she instructed us to follow her. We followed behind her, as she led us to an empty table. "Thank you." Mike smiled at the lady and the lady nodded her head, walking away. We sat opposite to each other, picking up the menu's.

"Fuck, there's some good shit here," Mike grinned as his eyes scanned the menu, making me laugh.

"Pick whatever food you want. Don't worry much about the money." I added as he was about to speak, probably complain about how expensive the food's were going to be. I smirked as he shut his lips, and slid down the chair.

He's just too cute.
