*Alex's POV*
"Mike?" I called out as people passed me and gave me strange looks for being loud. I sent them sorry looks and sighed, my eyes wandering around. I had lost Mike. He just disappeared out of nowhere. I swear I was holding him tightly against me so he wouldn't run off, because I knew he would with all the sugar he's been having lately.
"For fuck's sake." I mumbled to myself and felt my anxiety grow as time passed and no sight of Mike was seen. I was so nervous, I just hope he's safe and no one's hurting him in any way. I took in a deep breath and walked over where there were a family of four, two kids and a married couple. They were chatting and laughing.
"Hello, sorry to interrupt." I gulped as I approached them. They looked rather offended I talked to them, "but have you, in any chance, seen a boy with blonde hair and a piercing on his nose?"
"Oh!" The lady grinned and nodded her head. My face lit up and I waited for her to answer. "I hope I'm not mistaken but I think he went to the candy store." She smiled sweetly at me and i glanced at the husband, who was staring off into space. I thanked her quickly and ran off to the candy store. Of course he would be there, why didn't I think of that earlier?
"Mike.." I trailed off as i entered the candy shop and I looked around, trying to find him. There were many aisles of candies and I felt like I was trapped with sweets around me and begging me to buy them and eat them. I gulped, trying not to grab one and eat one just right now and here. I had to contain myself, but fuck I'm hungry. I can't bare to loose myself too and be crazy like Mike, running around and breaking stuff, no offense to Mikey.
"Alex!" i heard a familiar voice call from behind me and my ears perked up, turning around to see Mike giggling and looking drunk. Oh boy did he take too much sugar.
"Oh, God. Mike, you fucking scared me! Don't run off like that, you shit." I sighed and grabbed his wrist, and pulled him out of the store. He whined, begging for me to stay there with him but I didn't listen to him and pulled him out of there.
"How did-" he hiccuped, "how did you find me?"
"I asked a lady and she told me she saw you running off here." I grumbled and he giggled. He sounded really drunk and I was concern on how much sugar he took. He's even holding a few sweets in his hand.
"Do you want some candy floss?" He shoved the pink fluffy sweet in my face and I shook my head, pushing his hand away from me. He giggled and took a bite of it.
"Let's go home." I sighed and he giggled, yet again. I was scared he could get diabetes with those sweets. I tried to keep my anger in and dragged him to our car, and shoved him in the passenger seat. He giggled again and watched me get to the driving seat and i started the car. I listened to him mumbling and humming to himself as I drove out. I sighed and blinked.
"Damn, Mike." I whispered and glanced at him, to see him sleeping peacefully. I slightly smiled and turned my attention back to the road. I listened to his light snores and tired to concentrate on the road, but my sight was getting blurry and I rubbed my right eye. I blinked multiple times and turned on the radio, letting Adele play softly.
"Alex.." Mike mumbled under his breath and I glanced at him, furrowing my eyebrows. "Where are you.." I could barely catch what he said, but i understood.
"I'm here, baby." I spoke and I saw him smile. Seeing thus, I smiled to myself. He was being adorable and I couldn't handle it.
After half an hour, we finally made it home. I sighed and put my head on the steering wheel and closed my eyes for a minute, trying to retrain the headache I'm having right now. I sucked in a deep breath and turned my head to Mike, reached my hand and shook him lightly, trying to wake him up. He groaned and tried to push my hand away and continued to snore. I rolled my eyes and got out of the car and jogged over to his side. I put my arms under his body and pulled him up, carrying him bridal style. I shut the car door and carried him to our home, trying to unlock the front door, and being careful not to drop Mike off of my arms. Finally unlocking the front door, I crash inside and sigh, fixing Mike on my arms, who was still sleeping. I shut the door behind me and took off my shoes, and started to make my way to our bedroom. I carefully put him down and he squinted, furrowing his eyebrows and I pecked his forehead, leaving my lips there for a while. He smiled in his sleep and I smiled at him. My smile dropped seconds later and I tiredly took off his shoes and his clothes so he could be comfortable. I covered his half naked body with the baby blue blanket and let him sleep comfortably. I walked over to the other side and laid down, wanting the sleep to take over me quickly.
Realising I still had my clothes and shoes on, I mentally groaned and got up, my headache only growing. Looking for Mike was a pain in the ass, but in a good way.
I lazily walked over to my wardrobe and took off my clothes, and just threw them into a pile of clothes inside. I took off my shoes and sighed. I then walked back sloppily and jumped into the bed, and hugged my pillow, feeling really comfortable.
