*Alex's POV*

I watched Mike as he innocently laid on the floor next to my bed. I felt guilty, he shouldn't be on the floor. I sighed and slowly stood up, making Mike perk up as his blue/green eyes watched me. "Mike, you're sleeping in my bed."

"What?" He furrowed his eyebrows, "what about you?"

"I will also be sleeping on the bed." I smiled lazily. He shook his head, looking down. "That's your bed; I-"

"Mike!" I whisper-yelled, making his eyes widen as he stared at me. "Just go to my bed." He nodded his head quickly and jumped on my bed, making me calm. I sighed and laid next to him,  making sure there was enough space in between us. I heard him shuffle. "I can't sleep."

I rolled over, seeing his eyes boarding with mine. He had his hands cupped together in front of his face. I bit my lip and scooted closer, and slowly wrapped my arm around his small waist. His breath quickened, "is this okay?"

"It's good." I heard him whisper. I smiled and felt him snuggling his head onto my chest. I closed my eyes, wanting the sleep take over me.

I was confused. I was confused about my attraction towards him. Like, it's only been only a week since we have met and I'm already feeling butterflies and this pain in my heart whenever he touches me or even looks at me. I had never felt this way before, so this was a new experience to me.

"Alex!" I heard my mom yell. I widened my eyes as I looked down at Mike, who was looking panicked. "Get down here!"

"Look, don't freak out. Stay here and I'll be coming right back, okay?" I whispered and he nodded his head, uncertainly. I stood up to my feet and jogged downstairs.

"Yes, mom?" I spoke up, gulping. My mom turned around, seeing my presence. I bit my lip as she looked up and down at me.

"There was this guy-" she looked up at the ceiling, like she was trying to remember something, "this guy who came here and asked for you. Was it your friend?" I raised my eyebrows.

"Um- I guess." I shrugged my shoulders, not understanding where she's going for. "He has blonde hair and a nose piercing."

"Yes, that must be him." I nodded my head, arms crossed over my chest, "why are you asking me this?"

"Yes!" She smiled, and looked at me, "I want you to stay away from him, darling."

"What?" I mumbled, taking a step, "what do you mean?"

"He's obviously an influence on you! He obviously distracts you from your works!"

"And how do you know this?" I took a step, "how the hell do you know this information?"

"I can see it." She shrugs her shoulders. I rolled my eyes.

"Mom-" I smiled, closing my eyes, "you cannot make me ignore a friend. I finally have a friend and you expect me to stay away from him? I don't fucking care about my studying and shit, to be honest. He's a good lad."

"He doesn't seem like a good lad to me with those piercings." She frowned.

"You cannot just go and judge a person with looks, mom. That's bullshit! He's a kind person and is not whatever the fuck you're thinking."

"Stop cussing!" My mom yelled, and suddenly, I felt a pain on my cheek. I gaped as I slowly put my hand on my cheek, trying not to let the tears fall. I gulped slowly as I held my redden cheek, staring at my mom, who looked wild and was breathing furiously.

"Thanks for being the best mom ever. Truly." I mumbled and ran upstairs, ignoring my mom's yells and shouts and I sprinted to my room. I walked in, making Mike startle as he sat up in my bed. Once he had noticed my red cheek, he stood up immediately and rushed over to me. I pushed him off very gently, shaking my head.

"We're going." I muttered and looked for my suitcase, starting to pack up. He looked at me dumfounded.

"What happened?" He whispered. His voice was so quiet I barely caught on what he had said.

"We're staying at a hotel." I sighed and stood up, turning around to face him. "I have the money, don't worry."

"Alex- I-" He put his hand on my shoulder, "this is going too far. Are you sure, yourself, of what you are aware of?"

"This is what I want. I don't want to stay in this place, it disgust me. Plus, you're locked out and don't have a home at the moment." I sighed, looking down. His hand left my shoulder. He looked up at me, making my stomach flutter.

"Are you s-sure?" He stuttered. I nodded my head. He sighed and fiddled with his sleeves, "if that's what you want to do.."

"Great, let's get the fuck out of here then." I gritted my teeth and took my luggage, "we are going to run away from the window. I don't want us to get caught, especially by mom." I told him. He nodded his head and made his way over to the open window, and over. "How are we able to jump out of the window? It's too high!"

"Not too high." I shrugged my shoulders and grabbed his hand lightly. I felt him tense over my touch. "There's a roof and we can just gently jump on it, and then - yeah."

"Gently, yeah right." He rolled his eyes, mocking me. I giggled and pushed his arm slightly, making him smile. I grunted as I lifted myself up, looking over the window. I turned around to look at Mike, who was looking at my worriedly. I give him a sympathetic smile.

"It's going to be alright, trust me." I said. He nodded his head and watched me as I dangled my legs over. I looked down at the busy lights and turned over, and grabbed the window and let myself fall. I landed perfectly on my legs and looked up at Mike, smiling. "C'mon."

"Catch me?" He asked with pleading eyes. I rolled my eyes playfully, throwing my arms out, "I'll catch you, princess." I heard him giggle and I smiled. His giggles are always so cute. I looked up at him and watched him as he fell down, me gently catching him. His feet landed on the brown roof and I wrapped my arms around his neck. He took a deep breath.

"I felt like an angel falling down." He whispered. I laughed and let go off him, taking my luggage and then jumping down the other roof, and finally stepped on the pavement. Mike scurried next to me, slowly taking my hands in his.

"But, okay, just think through this-"

"Mike." I chuckled, squeezing his hand, "I am sure of this."

"This just escalated quickly, I can't comprehend what's happening." He smiled. I snorted and sighed, making sure I was holding the two most important things with each of my hand. The luggage and of course, Mike.
