*Alex's POV*
"Are you kidding me?" I heard Mike sigh. I looked up from the television to see his arms crossed over his arms and a playful smile on his face. I grinned.
"What?" I mumbled and turned my attention to the screen again.
"You're so immature." Mike sat next to me, placing his head on my shoulder, "you're literally watching The Chipmunks."
"Yeah, so what? I like the movie." I scoffed, and I heard Mike silently laugh. A smile brought up my face. I was happy, for once. I had a lovely boyfriend, a cute cat and a comfortable home. I was so happy me and Mike moved into a new home. I'm glad I can spend my time with a special person as much as I can. I looked down at Mike to see him silently sleeping. I leaned my head down and pecked his head. He was so cute. He brings so much happiness to my life it's unbearable. I felt something nudging on my thigh and I looked down to see Akihiko patting its small head onto me. I sniffled and brought my free hand to caress his furry head.
"Cute. Wish I could take a picture." I heard Mike whisper. I chuckled, my attention still on the cat as the movie continued playing in the background. "Is it Sunday today?"
"Yeah." Mike mumbled and sighed, "exams are coming up."
"Ugh, don't even remind me of it." I rolled my eyes and Mike chuckled, and he stood up from his spot to go to the kitchen. "I'm making dinner!" He called as he left. I cleared my throat, and reached my hand towards the remote to change the channels. Akihiko comfortably sat itself on my lap, purring. The sight was so cute.

"Oh my God, Alex!" Mike aggressively yelled as I turned around in my bed. "Get up already, we're going to be late to school!"
"Oh, who the fuck cares?" I groaned as I shoved my head inside the duvet. Mike groaned loudly and pulled the duvet away from me, cold bitterly hitting my body. I hissed.
"Get up, you asshole!"
"Go to school without me then!"
"Fine!"
"Fine!"
I listened closely as Mike shut the front door very loudly and I took a deep breath, landing back on my bed. I was too tired to care about anything right now. I only had, like, what? 3 hours of sleep? I looked at the bedside and saw that it was 08:51. Well, guess who's going to miss one or two lessons today. I kind of felt bad that Mike had to go alone.
Feeling too guilty, I stood up. Yawning, I walked to the bathroom to get ready. I looked at myself in the mirror, cringing at how tired and ugly I look. I fixed my bed hair. Once I looked freshened up, I walked to the bedroom and got my clothes out. I picked out a black sweater with Deadpool on the center and black skinny jeans, and of course, black shoes. Taking my phone out, I called Mike. Hope he answers.
"Hey, babe, sorry for the yelling today. Wasn't feeling alright. Anyways, where you at?" I spoke as I skipped down the stairs and looked for the keys. There was silence for a second at the other line.
"Oh. Right, yeah. It's fine. I'm in the coffee shop, where are you? Still in bed?" There was anger in his voice and I closed my eyes for a second to retrain my annoyance.
"No, I'm just leaving the house. I'm coming to the coffee cafe, so stay put in there." I hung up, and shoved the phone down my pockets, letting out a deep breath. I quickly left the flat, scurrying to go to the coffee cafe.
After an hour, I finally arrived. "Hey, Mike." I called as I sat opposite to him in the booth. He lifted his head up, silently looking at me. "Hi."
"Hey, what's wrong?" I whispered and placed my cold hands on top of his warm ones. He shook his head, signalling nothing was wrong. I nodded my head, closing my eyes. I still felt tired and I felt like I was about to pass any time. It was like the whole world was spinning around.
"Didn't get much sleep I see?" Mike joked as he poked my arm. Jumping up, I swallowed. I leaned back on the chair and crossed my arms over my chest, nodding my head. Mike rolled his eyes playfully and I looked out the window.
"You really need to sleep more." Mike spoke up after some silence, "you can't go on like this forever. It's really unhealthy."
"Doesn't matter," I mumbled, "I'm taking the pills, remember? They're supposed to make me help stay up throughout the day so I won't pass out."
"Yeah, but it looks like you're going to pass out right now." Mike sighed, and looked down at his coffee, "I- I'm just worried, you know? Knowing you don't get much sleep worries me."
"Don't." I gently placed my hand on his cheek, "it's okay, don't worry about me. Worry about yourself. Please. My sleeping is not that important anyways."
"Okay." Mike nodded his head, and looked up at the clock. "We should probably go to class."
"Yeah, we should." Both of us stood up, grabbing our bags and leaving the cafe, our hands tied together.
"Why are there so many people in this early hour?" Mike mumbled, his hands tightening around mine and his body close. I protectively wrapped an arm around him. "I'm not sure." I replied.
"Can they just stop touching me when they walk past? Ugh." Mike grumbled and I laughed in amusement. He never fails to make me smile, no matter the situation. Mike sighed as he placed his head on my shoulder. We ended up going past the busy, crowded pavement and walked to the school gates. Students were filled everywhere, talking and laughing. Me and Mike walked to his locker first to get the books for Science.
"See you in break?" He asked and innocently looked up. I bit my lip.
"Yeah, see you in break."
