Hello All!

Thanks for all the comments!! (even though none of them really pertained to my whole ''question for the readers".... Ahh well.

So anyway I totally can't wait to write this next chapter because I can't wait for you guys to be able to listen to some MUSIC!!!! The songs that I put in my stories are completely original and written by either myself or by my very good friend JonPatrick. We created a band together called Pilgrim and we really love to write music. The song "The Wall" is on our band page if you want to check it out (which I totally encourage!!). Anywhowhatsit, on to the story! Hope you enjoy! Don't forget to comment and vote!!

Ferrior's POV

I leafed through my journal until I found the song that I wanted.

It was called "The Wall" and it was about Shakespeare's story of Pyramous and Thisby. They were a pair of lovers who whispered to each other through the holes in a wall. They decided to run away together and meet in front of a cave. Thisby got there first and was startled by a lion that lived in the cave. The beast caught her veil in his mouth and got blood all over it. Pyramous found the tattered veil and thought that his lover had been eaten. Stricken with grief, he stabbed himself with a dagger. Soon afterwards, his beloved Thisby returned and discovered him dead. She took the dagger from his body and killed herself as to join her sweet Pyramous.

I struck the first chords of the song and began singing,

"I'm so alone

Why can't I stand

I'm so ill and frail.

These legs will snap if I stand too tall."

My voice wavered a little bit as I sang because of how nervous I was. I wanted to impress her so badly that it drove me crazy. Hopefully it wasn't too noticeable.

"Looked through the world

Looked through the clear

Tearstained eyes seeing the blind.

Whispering through the hole in the wall.

I write my name on the wall

And in a little while

It will crack down the middle.

Whispering through the hole in the wall

Never getting a reply,

Still you know my cries.

It never helped before,

I whispered to you

Through the hole in the wall.

You're on the other side

But I can't see you

I hold my hand out for you to touch

Thisby!

No I don't want to be alone,

But its what I've got.

Stay out with me

Until the leaves change

From green to red,

To yellowish,

To dead."

She watched me intently as I played and I tried to make it look like I wasn't freaking out about it. The amount of talent that Willy had made me feel strangely self-conscious and unworthy to play for her. Still, she welcomed me with open arms and ears and listened intently.
