Hello All!

I've been a mean writer. I know. I'm sorry! I've been hitting writers block every time I finish a chapter so if you guys could comment, that would help soooo much. This chap was really hard to write because I was running on 1 comment.

Anywho, as always, I hope you like and PLEASE COMMENT!! I'd love to hear from you guys!!

Your fellow reader and writer,

Laura :D

Chris's POV

I needed to get Lilly back.

I sat there staring at the tacky plastic stars stuck to the ceiling. Seriously, how old were we? Twelve? Who would put those up in a teenage guy's room? They might as well have hung a little space ship from the ceiling and put a Buzz Lightyear poster on the wall.

But how? I wondered, How am I supposed to get back someone like her?

Lilly was the first girl that I had ever passionately wanted to be with. All of the others were just for a quick date here and there to pass the time and keep up my rep. Those girls were bubbly airheads who were caught up in their social lives, mood swings, and sleeping with every cute guy they see walking down the halls.

Lilly blew them all out of the water. When she stepped into a room, everyone had to turn their heads just because of the intoxicating aura that she was emitting. She was intelligent, witty, and mysterious,  always keeping you on your toes as to what she was going to say next, kind and thoughtful, always thinking of others, strong-willed and determined, stubborn as an ass when it came to the things that she cared about, and she was absolutely beautiful on the inside and out, with a heart of the purest gold imaginable that seemed to glisten through the very pores on her skin and brighten up the world around her.

A heart of gold that you broke, hissed a nasty voice in the back of my head.

I pushed it away violently.

I had to do something spectacular for her, something to show her how much I genuinely cared about her.

I sighed and rolled over, shoving my head under my pillow. It smelled like sweat, stale cologne and wood.

That's when it finally slapped me in the face. I couldn't believe that I didn't think about it before.

I'm gonna need a few people to help but it should be possible, I thought to myself, It'll be in front of everyone and it'll make a huge statement.

I was going to sing to her at the final talent show.

Willy's POV

I went to breakfast and everyone was finally able to sit at one table again. There was still a little bit of tension between Chris and Lilly but it was better than not sitting together at all. Both sets of twins stepped in and masked it the best that they could. It was all going smoothly until Griffin started cracking woman jokes.

"So why don't girls where watches?" he said with a smirk, "Because there's a clock on the oven!"

We screamed and snarled with protest, throwing crumpled up tin foil and paper at him.

"AAAH!!"

"WHAT THE HELL?!"

"OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!"

The boys of course were laughing their butts off.

"Okay! Okay!" Ferrior stepped in this time, "I've got one. God made man and then he rested. God made woman and neither man nor God have rested since!"

We howled in protest yet again and began pelting him with garbage. He just laughed and dodged our attacks by hiding under the table.

"WHAT THE HECK?!"

"BOOOO!"

"GO FLY A KITE!"

"OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!"

et cetera et cetera et cetera.

A few people stared at us but we didn't care. We knew that we were a little bit crazy but we were crazy in a good way. We were the misfits who didn't belong with the freaks or the goths or the preps or the rockers or the druggies and hippies.

Ferrior looked like a goth punk who wrote depressing poetry, listened to death metal and constantly said, "It is empty like my soooooouuuuuuul!!" but he wasn't. Instead, he was the sweetest person I had ever met and an amazing song writer, vocalist, and musician.

Bea looked like a bubbly cheerleader, but she also had her nerdy, quirky side. She was absolutely obsessed with Manga. She read all sorts of manga novels like Fruits Basket, Naruto, and Cannad. She was also pretty good at drawing manga too.

Max looked like a tough, mean, punk-rocker chick who would kick your butt for no apparent reason and steal your lunch money, but even she had her quiet side. She might never admit it to you, but she was really into horses. She said that she loved how majestic, regal and strong they were.

It was crazy how different we were and how we got along so well.

We stopped throwing stuff at Ferrior and he came out from underneath the table.

He took my hand and our fingers instantly intertwined. He frowned and wrapped his other hand around it too.

"Why are your fingers so cold?" he asked.

"Why are your fingers so warm?" I shot back.

"Touche."

It was pretty much official that Ferrior and I were dating. We went for walks almost every day now and practiced together in all of our classes. Our teachers loved it because I had finally gotten Ferrior to participate and they loved how we sounded together.

I had finished my song but I wasn't going to sing the final song to him until the performance at the end. I knew that he was dying to hear it but I refused to budge. It was going to be a surprise if it killed me!

I looked over at Chris. He seemed different today, more focused and determined than sad and depressed.

That afternoon I met up with Chris, Ferrior, Eddie and Griffin and I found out why.

"I'm going to sing to her at the talent show," he said, smiling from ear to ear.

"What?!"

Ferrior and I stared at him like he had grown a second head.

"I thought you hated performing!" said Eddie.

"That's the point," he explained, "Lilly knows how much I hate performing and when she sees me up there she'll realize that I'll do anything for her."

"But what if she still doesn't take you back?" I asked.

I hated being the pessimist in this situation but I really didn't want to see two of my best friends get hurt even more than they all ready had been.

"That's just a risk that I'm going to have to take," he replied.

He had a look of absolute determination on his face. He wasn't going to let anything sway him from this.

"Look," said Chris, "I know it's a long shot but it's the only shot that I have. If this doesn't work out then I'll move on but I won't be able to live with myself if I were to give up on the girl of my dreams and I didn't try everything to get her back. You guys don't have to help if you don't want to but this is what I'm going to do."

We all stared at him for a moment.

"I'm in." I said.

"Me too." said Ferrior.

"Me three!" said Eddie in a girly voice.

"I guess I'm in too," said Griffin.

Chris smiled as we all gathered around him.

"This is gonna be big."
