RIIIIINNNNNNGGGG!!!!!! My alarm went off.I had a really weird dream that last night.
I was at a party with all of the popular girls and cute guys and they called me "queen".
We danced forever, took pictures, and made memories.
Then, when I checked my phone, I had 3 thousand followers on Instagram!
I was popular.
It was amazing! Everyone knew who I was, guys asked me out, and I had, like a gazillion friends!
I was sad to wake up. It had been the best night of my life, and it wasn't even real!
That just made my life sound like 10x more sad.
I finally forced myself out of my bed, brushed my teeth, and went over to my closet.
I was going to try harder on my clothes that day.
My closet pretty much consisted of t-shirts, sweatpants, ripped up jeans, and my one pair of shoes.
After looking through everything that I had, I realized that I had nothing...
I kept trying to make things work but nothing would.
That was until I found the gray dress I wore to my uncle's wedding.
Perfection!
I put it on and saw my self differently.
I was actually okay looking.
After that, I put in my contacts and went downstairs for breakfast.
"Ooh! Something smells amazing!" I said.
"Belgium waffles!" My mom said cheerfully!
We ate them quickly and I walked to my bus stop.
About 5 minutes before the bus came I saw someone familiar running over to us. It was hard to pick out who it was at first, but then I knew.
"Hazel!" I yelled to her, but she didn't hear me.
"Hazel!" I yelled louder. She looked over, saw me, and smiled. Then she walked over to me,
"Hey! Mel, right?" She asked me.
"Yeah", I answered. "This is your bus stop?"
"Now it is", she said, "we moved."
"What house?" I asked her.
"That white one" she replied, pointing to the White House next to mine.
"No way! I live right next to you in that tan house", I said as I pointed to my house.
"No way!" She said excitedly.
She took out her phone and gave it to me. "Can you put in your number? So we can like text and stuff?"
"Totally!" I exclaimed. I put in my phone number as the bus rolled down. Then I gave her her phone back.
"Want to sit by me?" She asked me.
"Sure, thanks!" I replied and sat down.
I had a really good feeling that this could be the start of a new friendship!
