Part 3: the training

Alex's POV
I woke up to the sound of an annoying alarm clock. I opened my eyes and slammed my hand down on the stupid alarm clock.
" So today is my training day...?" I thought. Celeste and Vox told me that I will be training today, I wonder what training will it be?
As I am getting dressed, I looked at the clock. 6:15. Hum, that's 15 minutes later than usual. (That's when I get up in the morning IRL) I looked out the door and saw no one. I grabbed my watch and shove it on my hand. Stupid watches. I walked down the royal hall where i saw a gallery of retired Heroes and those who have respawn failure. There I saw two pictures. One was a woman. She was a Mage and the other one was a protector. I checked their description. Sure enough, they were my parents.
As I walked down the gallery, I heard a loud thumping noise. I looked around and saw Joule on her mutant robot.
"Hey Alex! Morning!" She smiled
I smiled back and said " morning! It's pretty early for you guys, isn't it?"
"Yeah, we usually get up at like 7:00. I only woke up cause I wanna fix my robot." She pat her robot and said " wanna help me?"
" Sure! " I had nothing better to do anyways. So we spend morning fixing the robot. When it was almost breakfast, she said "cmon. That's go to breakfast. What will we have this morning?" I shrugged. I was so tired last night I didn't even eat dinner.

As we sat down at the table, Vox smiled at me and said" hey Alex! Oh and sup joule!" He blushed. I put on a I -see-you smile. While Vox is just like "KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT I KNOW CELESTE TOLD YOU" face. Joule got up and went to hang around with Vox. I was bored and saw Taka. He look so awesome with that bushy tail so I sat next to him. " hey Alex!" He grinned. "Morning!" I smile back. I asked him " how do we get breakfast?" Taka laughed. " oh right. Here." He pulled out a small drawer and inside was a small computer. He asked me" what do you want?" I was confused and fascinated by the computer and said "Eggs and Bacon." Taka wrote something into the computer and the next thing I saw was a small trapdoor that opened and dispense my eggs and bacon. " here you go!" He pushed the plate towards me. I was so hungry and they looked SOOOOOOOOOOO good. As I wasn't a very good cook my self. So I dig in. It was probably the best breakfast I ever had. When I finished, I pushed the plate back to the trapdoor and watched it go down. I asked" exactly what do we do at training?" Taka said " we practice our skills that we will be using on the battlefield. We do that and we take turns to show our progress. " he said. " for me and Koshka and BlackFeather, we are assassin type. " he added. " Celeste told me you are a Mage, but Vox keep saying you are a sniper role. Guess we will find out later!" We kept talking until we were interrupted by the announcer. "You may now proceed to training. All training systems are now on." We got up and I followed Taka to the training room. After we reached different rooms, he told me" Go to the last one. That's the Sniper room. You should find Vox in there. I thanked him and ran to the last room. I opened the door and sure enough, Vox was in there. He shot me a you-know-what face while I just gave him a innocent smile. I heard him whisper "i hate you" I just coughed. He knows that was a laugh. I walked to the other end and saw a massive room with all different type of equipments. From dumbells to targets. I lined up with Celeste and I heard her whisper "morning" I smiled. She told me"don't worry, the trainings are simple." We had to train our abilities. After 40 minutes, I managed to use my fire dart perfectly. I shot one at a dummy, it was set on flame the instant it made contact. "Why don't you ask Vox to help you with sniping skills?" I told her what happened today morning and she laughed. "He's a idiot!" She said "sorry, but I have to got to the final section. Gotta practice my solar storm. She waved me good bye and I practiced my ice fall. Twice I almost hit myself. At the end, my fingers were so cold Celeste had to ask a enemy Mage, Skaarf to give me some heat to get my fingers moving again. He was cute, but Celeste told me don't say that to him or he will burn you . At lunch , an angel looking guy went to Celeste and said "hey bae! How are you? " I saw him gave a kiss to her. That was awkward considering I was next to them. So I moved a little and sat across from them. (WAIT A SECOND ALEX DONT LIKE CELESTE BUT HE WILL LIKE SOMEONE IN THE FUTURE SO DONT WORRY OK?!) during afternoon, it was free time. A lot of people went to hang out or something. I was determined and I went back to the training room. I decided to work on my physical attack so I cast a few simple spells on a dummy. I managed to hit a few critical on it but that was it. When I was praticing my freezing ability, a crystal arrow flew out of nowhere. Without thinking, I froze the arrow. A girl with blonde hair came running and said" I am so sorry! Are you ok?" " yeah... Who are you?" I asked her as I melted the ice and handed the arrow back to her. She was pretty looking and nice, too. "I am kestrel. A storm guard archer." Are you new here?" She look EXTREMELY PRETTY. So I blushed, and said " Alex. Alex Evozar." "Wow! Are you really? Cause Catherine told me you were here but I had no idea that was you!" She exclaimed. I blushed. She said "anyways, I have to go back to shooting. See you around!" I waved. And I sighed. Only God would understand my emotions right now.
After they came back, we had a nice dinner and I saw kestrel talking to Catherine. Catherine saw me and waved. I waved back and smiled. After all, she is my godmother. We had a nice dinner and many went messing around or playing games. Me? I went back to the training room.
"Back here again?" A deep voice said
