Part 6: Kestrel X Alex XD

Btw: I said Alex's age is 3,000. So is kestrel. Except He is older than Kestrel by just 3 days. In my book, 3000 years old= about 13 in our world. Celeste and Vox are teenagers because here she can turn back time. Why? Just why? XD
Also, every hero have a watch that act as a screen to us, that's when they learn their abilities and scroll mini map.
Kestrel POV:
I woke up in my room. What the hell happened last night? I saw my bow next to my drawer. and there was a note next to the lamp. It said:
Hey,
You fell asleep last night in the Royal hall. I took you back last night. Hope you are all right
Alex
"He took me back last night?!" I thought. I only felt a warm feeling on my left hand when I lied down last night. So it must be him... But how did I fell asleep last night that fast?"
>flashback<
"So someone is in love with Alex huh?" Taka smirked.
"Shut up" I shot him a deadly look
"Don't worry... We known you for 3,000 years... We know you won't give him up... You will get him... We will make sure of that."Ringo grinned.
"What do you mean? You will make sure?" I eyes him suspiciously, taking a sip of my red tea.
" you know... Make sure you two are well together and happy..." Koshka smirked
"You guys are driving me crazy." My eyes suddenly felt heavy.
"You want to go to bed? Cause we are." Celeste told me.
"No... I will wait for him..." I stroke my hair. It makes me feel calm whenever I am nervous.
"Ok. Suit yourself. By the way,here's something for you. " Koshka threw a minion candy at me. I caught it and ate it. It taste funny. I suddenly felt sleepy and everything went dark...
I shook my head. That damn Koshka put sleeping powder on the candy just so Alex can take me back... It felt nice, of course. But I can handle it myself. I handle way tougher things than love. But it felt different... I never felt this way about anyone else before... I got up and put on my silver and red coat. Put my bow on my back and left my room and walked to the Royal hall.
Alex's POV
After what happened last night, I felt like she is a part of me. Impossible to live without. Today when I woke up, I knew I stayed up late last night trying to defeat eye of Cthulhu( guess the game) I got up and as usual, my hair was a mess. I grabbed and a comb and wet my hair and started brushing it. Gotta look good, right? As soon as I was done, I left my room and walked to the Royal hall.
When I arrived, Kestrel was already there. I slide next to her and said "morning." I smiled. "Oh hey!" Her cheeks turned pink. I can feel people staring at us. It felt creepy so I decided to ask Kestrel " exactly how do we get picked to go fight?" " oh. They shuffle at random and 3 pops up. I was told they are gonna fight from 1:00 to 3:00 today." She looked away. I looked at her stroking her hair gently... God she look so pretty... I felt like I just got petrified and stunned. I shook my head as the announcement came up. "Welcome to Vainglory hero shuffle. We will now pick our champion to fight for halcyon fold today." A huge board with 3 slots appeared. Faces shuffle through it. The first one said lane, second said jungle, and third said roam. I guess that's their role for this round. In roam, adagio was chosen. In jungle, Taka appeared. The lane is taking a long time before I was chose. Everyone cheered (except Feather, course) that I was chosen to find in lane. The announcer spoked again" heroes that have been selected please prepare as your helicopter will be leaving in exactly 5 hours. " the announcements end Taka told me "come with me for a sec. Got something for you." He winked. Now I don't know about you guys. But when someone winks at me, it usually means good news. He took me into a room that was filled with equipments. I took a good look around and saw that everything was sorted into classes. He opened a door that lead to a room that have a pedestal in the center. I saw what it was, it was a wand. I asked Taka "why did you bring me here?" He opened the lid and took out the wand. "Your mom wanted me to give you this wand before your first battle. She also had one, but from what I have heard, this is the strongest one there ever was." He took my right hand and rested the wand in it. " it matches your mark. It represents your magical abilities and show everyone not to mess with you. Here, give it a wave and cast a spell on this " he held out a board (WAIT WHY DID HE HAVE A BOARD?!?!?) and said " give it a try" I waved the wand and murmured a fire attack, a fire orb blasted out with force and blew up the board, giving Taka a scare. "Woah! Don't hit ME! That's pretty good with you anyway. Come on. Let's go before Koshka start complaining that she's bored. We walked back out and back to the royal hall. The team was chatting away about the battle. I shrugged and went to my room, trying to be ready before the battle begins. I don't know how tough will the enemies be, and I thought if Ardan will be there. My thoughts were interrupted by someone knocking gently on the door. I opened it and saw Kestrel standing there. "Oh hey! What's up?" I smiled and let her in. " nothing really... Congrats on making the team! Though I really wanted to go..." She sighed. " by the way, thanks for last night. I don't know why I felted so sleepy." She started stroking her hair again. I put on my piranha hoodie and said "no problem... Your room is pretty nice, anyway." I tried not to blush. "Thanks... Well, good luck today! And..." Before I could say anything,she ran up and hugged me. "Be careful... I will miss you." She said quietly. I hugged her back. She grabbed her bow and left. I was petrified. My brain was yelling "OMERGRAWD!!!I TOLD YOU THAT STUPID OTHER VOICE INSIDE THIS HEAD!!! I TOLD YOU!!!" I shook my head. Love is confusing.
Kestrel's POV
Oh my god... I hugged Alex! Can't do this... Too much to handle... He's so adorable... I shook my head. I hope he wins. Because honestly, I need another reason to talk to him.
Back To Alex...
(Time skip)

I was ready. My orb ( Adagio gave me) and wand in hand while Taka had a little fox plushie on his back (SO FREAKING CUTE) and Adagio was just in his usual outfit. We stepped into the helicopter and we were off. Once in, no going back. I saw Taka buying a weapon blade. I wanted to be a assassin  with weapon power. But since he's doing that, I have to go with crystal power Mage. I bought a crystal bit and the countdown was ticking. 3,2,1...
"The battle for halcyon fold has begun." We ran (adagio flew) onto the battlefield. Taka and Adagio went it the end of the jungle while I ran into the lane. I began throwing spells at minions and that's when I saw a man with a heavy machine gun. I fall back a little so he doesn't get a upper hand. As I landed a last hit on the last minion, I leveled up. I pressed the second button to tell them I learned my ice rain. I saw that man with the heavy gun low in health, I dashed forward to kill him. Suddenly, the turret saw what I was doing a shot me. It hurts more than when he shot me with 100 bullets. I was low, really low. He ran towards me with a knife and I ran. I cast the rain to slow him down. He is now the same health as I am. I had the higher point right now, I ran to him and marked him flames, and shot my fire dart at him. His health bar reached zero and he's dead. First blood! I kept killing lane minions until he came back. I guess he didn't appreciate the fact I killed him that early, that's why he keep shooting at me. I told Taka I am going home so he can cover the lane. I teleported back and bought a shatter glass. Now my abilities will hurt like hell. I also bought travel boots so I run faster. I run back to the lane and the heavy machine gun and a enemy jungler that look like a blind tiger and a giant axe. I pressed the group gather ping to signalize that I was being 2 on 1. And I was pretty sure that someone was hiding in the brush. Taka and Adagio ran into the brush and told me to signalize them for ambush. I castes a ice rain at the back of them as Taka jumped out and x-retsu the tiger as Adagio gave me gift of fire and Agent of wrath to Taka, landing a killing blow on the tiger. The gunman fled and teleported home. We took advantage and destroyed the first two turret and that's when a wolf jumped on me and scratched me. I ran back with a scratch mark on my chest. Adagio healed me and Taka said "let's go get the gold mine, cause it was almost full. We ran to the jungle and captured the mine. We got 250 gold and I bought a hourglass cause I want aftershock. I went back out to lane to get some levels to upgrade my ultimate.
(Time skip)
Taka's POV
It's late game. We are already maxed out and we are camping next to the kraken. We saw the other brush move and we knew the other team was there,too. We wanted to get them out of here and capture the kraken. But we can't do it without showing ourselves... That's when Alex said " wait a sec, got a idea." He got out the brush and threw some spells at the kraken. Provoked, he started towards Alex and Glaive, Fortress, and SAW jumped out to attack Alex. Knowing this was the chance, he ran back to where we are and the three followed him. I suddenly knew what he was doing, counter ambushing. When Fortress came in, is three focused on him and he died in no time. Glaive tried to rocket away but he was slowed by Adagio's arcane fire, we got him too, SAW was putting up a fight and me and Adagio is chasing him, that's when Alex used his ultimate. He summoned three tornados and hit SAW, stunned, he finished him and said "don't get the Kraken, he's too slow. " We agreed and pushed in.
When we destroyed all the turrets, we started destroying the crystal. The enemy team respawned and tried to stop us, we had to fall back. "Fall back!!!" I yelled. Adagio nodded and flew back. But Alex wasn't paying any attention. He kept shooting at the crystal, no matter how hurt he is. "Alex! We gotta get out of here!" I yelled. But he just said "just a little more..." And finished it with a fire dart. It wiggled and fell. Destroying its bits and gone. We won.
That's it for now. More ships are coming In and a new book is coming out. This chapter was extra long because why not. Anyway that's it for now and have a super duper delicious day!:)
