Part 23: Change Of Heart I'm a monster

Third Person Point Of View
As Nathaniel and Catherine slowly uncover the truth of time, they met a necromancer, named Nebula. Where he is from and his past will slowly uncovered...
"Now where do we go?" Catherine asked.
"I dunno, maybe Taka's time?"
"Oooooook, I feel like a stalker."
"You are already one when you are on that Facebook." Nathaniel laughed at his own joke as Catherine gave him a hard kick.
>rewind<
A young boy laying on a bed next to a unfamiliar woman as Taka knocked on the door.
"Oi! You two! You awake yet?" Taka bellowed.
"Yeah! Yeah, just a second..." The two of them scrambled out of the bed and started dressing as Catherine closed her eyes with her hand. Conversation goes on as Catherine asked Nathaniel
"How's this helping us?" Catherine asked.
Nathaniel just shrugged. A small purple light appeared behind them.
"Oh Shi-" Nebula had resurfaced as he blasted Nathaniel with a dark, devilish purple beam.
"AHHHHH!" Nathaniel cried in pain. Catherine blasted herself as Athena heeded her calling.
"Life Guard!" Athena nodded as she castes a force field.
"You ok?" Catherine asked as she sat Nathaniel up.
"No... Don't... Run... GET OUT OF HERE!" Nathaniel yelled as his eyes suddenly turned purple-ish.
"The monster inside of you... The voices inside your head that are pleading for you... Choose the same path that I did... Fall for me... Nothing matters... Wash out the good memory... You're a monster..." Nebula murmured. Nathaniel slowly stood up as he held out his hand towards Catherine. Catherine took a few steps back in fear.
"DIE!" He laughed as his hand blast out 7 beams. Miraculously, Catherine dodged all of them. However, Nathaniel threw himself on her and held her by her neck.
"Now tell me... Where's Skye?" Nebula asked as he approached them.
"Sk- Skye? No- no one have seen her in a- ages..." Catherine splutter.
"WHERE IS SHE?!" Nebula yelled.
"I told you... I dunno..."
Nebula sighs as he said to Nathaniel:
"Cmon, let's go, leave her." Nathaniel nodded. Leaving Catherine lying on the floor, blood spilled. Athena approached her.
"Are you alright, my master?" She asked.
"Yea... What do we do? Can you get any stronger so we can take his stupid ass back?"
"Yes... However, there are only two options..." Athena said slowly.
"Tell me."
"Well... You can choose between human or monster, of course. Human, you get stronger step by step, however, if you choose your option as monster, you automatically lose your control, being bloodthirsty, I shall say. And your powers will increase dramatically." Athena explained as Catherine nodded.
There are now two option for you guys:
1: Choose your human form
Or two: Choose Monster form. (Monster will be next chap)
It is entirely your own choice.

Choice 1: human
"Bullshit. I'm not going to be a monster." Catherine said as she slowly got up, placing her hand on her shoulder.
"Now cmon... Dad told me this place back then had a really good place that served really good halcyon juice." She walked towards the end of the block where she found the store as she went inside with Athena disappearing behind her.
"Hello, what can I get you?" The tender asked.
"A regular, please." The tender nodded as he handed her drink. Catherine went and found a place to sit as a boy with earphones walked up to her, asking:
"Sorry, but did you see boy with yellow glasses?" Catherine shook her head. The boy started to walk away but Catherine noticed his limit edition E-phones.
"Hey wait a second..." She said, the boy turned around.
"You're not from this time, are you?"
"What?! How- how do you know?" The boy gasped, shocked.
"Your E-phones." She pointed as she took a sip of her drink.
"Ok... You caught me. Yeah I'm not. I'm here on a mission."
"What mission?" Catherine asked curiously.
"Can't tell." The boy shrugged.
"Do you know who I am?" Catherine lifted her skirt, revealing her enchanted soul gun. The boy gasped.
"Catherine..." She nodded.
"Well... You see, I am a member of TTD, you know, time travel disturbances. They detected that somethings wasn't suppose to happen here. So I've been sent here. Anyways, it's getting late. You should get going, so should I."
"What? You have a house here?" Catherine stared. The boy chuckled.
"No... I'm living in a hotel room. Anyways, the name's Mars. Not really Mars, Marcel. That's my real name." Mars winked.
"Wow... Lead me to it, I need a place, too." But the boy looked concerned.
"Uhh... The hotel is a private one for the TTD members..."
"Oh... Guess I will choose somewhere else then." Catherine shrugged, but Mars quickly replied
"We can both use my room." He was expecting a reject, to his surprise, Catherine stated:
"I don't see why not."
>time skip< 11:30
Mars took off his shirt as Catherine layers on the opposite bed.
"Well... Night." Mars said weakly.
"Night."
"By the way... I don't know why you are here, though." Mars asked as he sat down next to her. Catherine explained the whole event.
"That's gotta hurt.. Where did he get you?" Mars asked. Catherine pulled her shirt one side, revealing a deep cut next to her shoulder. For some unknown girl reasons, Catherine put her hands around Mars, making him turn red.
"I dunno what to do now..."
"I can help you." Mars replied confidently
"Really? Oh my god you are so sweet!" She kissed him.
"Don't worry, it's not my first..." She winked.
"Wha... I was expecting more..." Mars accused playfully.
"What?" Catherine blushed and then giggled as she pushed him down.
"Cmon. Let's get started..."
