Part 14: Meaning of our existence

Sean's POV
It's been a week since we are out of the halcyon fold. We are in the middle of a huge war that will affect all of us. I took my spear and left to find Skye. Yes. She have a crush on me ever since I saved her life before the Gold mine can murder her. It happened 3,000 years ago but I still remember it like its yesterday. I left my room that the Stormguards have prepared for me and saw Skye sitting next to her robot, murmuring something.
"Are you alright?" I asked as I sat down next to her.
"Huh? What? Oh. Hey Sean. Yeah... I am alright..." She chuckled nervously. This isn't the first time I saw her do that. She was staring at Koshka playing Taka's fox (after evilqueen05 told me it's actually real) and she said to me:
"I been wanting to tell you this for a long time now. Sean... Umm..." I knew what was coming. So I replied:
"You don't have to tell me, I already knew." I smirked.
"What?! How- I mean. How did you know that?" She exclaimed, turning red instantly.
"What? I been told by Ardan, Petal, Skaarf, and a lot others that you do. And I see the signs, too. She stutter when I am next to you. You turn red most of the time, too."
"Well... In that case..." She sighed.
"What? That's it?" I smirked again.
"What? What more do you want? She accused me playfully.
"I dunno. Maybe a kiss?" I asked.
"What? But in front of-"She tried to finish her sentence but was cut of because I grabbed her and pressed my lips against her.
"OHMERGRAWD I TOLD YOU I TOLD YOU THEY WILL KISS ALL OF YOU OWE ME A BAG OF MINION CANDY!!!"Koshka yelled but was silenced by Taka.
"Shh! They will hear us!" But too late. Skye was already after them.
SAW's POV
I personally don't care where this war is going. I like living my life as an outcast. Feels like no one is limiting my life. I polished my last gun (aka my only gun) and took my gun out to the shooting range. That's when I heard helicopters. I looked up and saw Halcyon helicopters and saw them heading over to us. Worried, I ran to my wife, Rona, and told her:
"Tell everyone that halcyons are coming. We have to get out of here!" She nodded and left. I loaded my guns with cannons and began shooting at the helicopters. I was able to shoot down three out of four before THEY start shooting at me. I ran away and I dodged many bullets. As soon as I got inside, everyone was ready.
"Where are they?" Ardan asked.
"Up in the skies, genius." I replied.
"How many?" Adagio asked me again.
"Seven, shot down three." I replied again.
"Why did you do that? We could have hide here the whole time!" Vox scolded.
"Ok! Whatever! Do you guys want to die? Get to your positions!" I scolded annoyingly. They all nodded as Reim walked towards the door and opened it to find the halcyon guards.
"Reim... Long time no see... I suppose your friends are in here, aren't they?" A familiar voice questioned.
"Who is here are none of your business." Reim said calmly. A gun was pointed at his chin and BlackFeather said:
"Don't make me do this, old friend. Now, where are they?"
"You seem to forgot who I am." A Valkyrie popped out of nowhere and blasted halcyon guards in every direction. We all jumped out and started attacking. Alex shot spells in every direction and gunfires, energy beams, and fireballs shot in every direction. War has started.
Kestrel's POV
It was a chaos. A huge mess, I would say. It wasn't long until the Halcyon have to retreat and BlackFeather spat in blood:
"I will get all of you!" He spat.
"Get out." Alex grinned. He waved his orb in a circular circle and knocked BlackFeather out of the castle.
"Nice one." Petal cheered. I pushed my hair out of the way. We won this battle, but this is only a small portion of everything.
"We have to keep moving. They will ambush us again and by the time they do, I know we won't be ready." Alex informed us. We all nodded. We decided not to take our things, because it will only slow us down even more. We thanked Reim as he whispered to Petal about something. We left the palace and Alex said:
"I know where we should go. We should head over to the high mountains. We can get a clear view of the land below and we can always ambush." We nodded and Petal said:
"Wait. Lemme walk with Alex. Reim asked me to tell him something." I looked at her suspiciously. She wouldn't want to steal him from me, because I will shove an arrow in her throat. I may look fragile, but I am deadly. But Alex put his hand on my shoulder, he nodded, signalize that it was ok. I nodded back and he went to the back and walked with Petal.
"I'm going first! Let me check the top." Sean yelled.
Petal's POV
I just hope Kest don't get the wrong idea, because if she did, I will have an arrow up my throat. Anyways, as I walked next to Alex, I asked him:
"So. Skaarfie and Reim told you the other two, right?"
"Scaarfie? Oh. Yeah. They did." He scratch his head.
"Anyways, Reim told me to teach you life's greatest question. What is the meaning of our existence?"
"Umm... I honestly don't know." He replied.
"Why do you live? Why did you survive when Halcyon attacked your parents?"
"Vengeance?"
"No. Because they died for you. You took this time to meet new friends, found your true love, uncovered the truth..."
" to seek what we are living for?"
"But if you just seek, you will never find it. You have to find it in your heart..."
" Because... I have... Something worth living, suffering, dying for..." He said. Suddenly, his eyes, it didn't turn to red, blue, nor green. It turned into purple. Meaning other than life, he have something else inside him. He started murmuring random words...

" Arcane... Death... Live... Life... "

I felt a great aura inside him, but he collapsed of tiredness. I put him next to me on my flower ( With the help with my munions) and we arrived at the mountain hilltop.
There, I saw a horrible image...
