Part 11: Pain

Alex's POV
Sean is leading us to my parent's old hideout. Honestly, I don't know about it too much. I just know that they used it as their meeting place where they discuss information that they don't want the Fold to hear. We reached an old cave with a small circular keyhole. "Go on, put your wand in." Sean nudged me. I stepped forward, took out my wand, and gently sticked it in as if it's a key. The ground started shaking violently and the walls of the cave opened. We went in and I took a look. Everything is clean and organized. "Robots clean this place while there is no one is inside. It's really clean so it means it will be awhile before the Halcyon guards find us here. No one knew about this place except Nathaniel, Emily, and I" Sean took out a microwave Gyro and threw it in the microwave. "Well, make yourselves home. But it is Alex's property. Just saying!" Sean smirked at me. I grinned back. Ringo was still upset about Cath's death. All of us are affected very much, but Ringo was the one who was upset the most. I sighed and saw a door at the end of the hall that says "The Evozar's room." Curious, I went in for a look. Inside were computers containing files of the Halcyon fold and how they have lied to the Halcyon Heroes of how they are fighting for the battle of the universe... I typed in some keys and I saw how they are payed to organize us and how they keep an eye on us because we are the only one that will get in their way of their- 'plan'. My teeth were pressing against my lips and that's when Kestrel walked in. "You ok?" She asked sadly. Her mom's death must have affected her very much. I sighed. There wasn't much I can do other than keeping quiet. "It's all my fault... If I haven't decided to come here..." I murmured. "And with Catherine gone..." I was lost for words. I heard a small sob. Obviously she didn't need that old wound to open again. I stood up and said" I need rest..." She nodded and said "can I come..." I forced a smile and took her hand all the way to the bedroom... (NOTHING WRONG OK PEOPLE?!)
Sean's POV
Cath's death affected all of us very much. She was Emily's best friend and she was very protective of others. I shook my head as I took another bite. Across the room I saw Joule laying on Vox's shoulder and Skye trying to fix her machine gun. Phinn was polishing his anchor and Petal is playing with Scaarf and her pets. Ringo is just sitting by himself, drinking. None of us can stop him, of course. Celeste was trying to contact the storm guards to help us out against the Halcyon and Adagio is asking his elder dragons for help. Taka, on the other hand, was mediating while Koshka is cleaning her claws. All of us were not satisfied of what happened. I sighed as I took another bite out of my Gyro and suddenly, Phinn asked "how long are we gonna stay here? We are waiting to die like this, you know..." "We are not in the shape of fighting them. We will just waste our lives." Celeste replied. "We are waiting for backup. Storm Guard Queen has provided us with help and they are on their way. Ardan looked very satisfied with her daughter and Adagio sat down with Celeste and discuss their plans...
Skye's POV
As I waxed part of my robot, I began to think " Does he notice me?" I shot a quick look at Sean and went straight back to fixing my guns. Yes, I have a crush on him 2000 years ago and I still plan to tell him, but I don't have the courage to tell him yet. I sighed heavily. Joule walked to me and said "You alright?" I nodded, she sighed heavily. I saw that she was also fixing her robot. Although we are enemies, but we are like best friends because we both have robots. "I need some fresh air." She suddenly groaned and walked outside. Vox went after her because- well- you know why. I walked over to Sean and saw that he was swiping through his phone, apparently searching for games to play. I sat next to him.

"You ok?" I asked
"I'm worried about Alex... He's the main target of the Halcyon..." He sighed.
"He can take care of himself, you know." I replied.
"Yeah... But you know, Kestrel won't let him go alone, and Ringo will never let his family in danger without him, and it will just bring down everyone..." He sighed again and I knew he wasn't going to change his mind. Suddenly, Celeste yelled" Guys! The storm guards are here!" Many went outside the door and Sean went over to knock on Alex and Kestrel's room to wake them up. I sighed and got into my mech suit and went outside.
Petal's POV
I jumped onto my flower with Scaarfie and my flower casually walked outside.
"Where are we gonna go?" Scaarfie spit out some flames.
"Maybe somewhere with a lot of sunshines?" I suggested. He purred and lied next to me. He is so cute. He's the only one who let me call him cute and anyone else who call him that will get burned. I stroked my my munions and they purred. Together we got in the  helicopter the storm guard have provided us with and we took off~
Yeah sorry guys these days the chapters are really short but I promise on weekends I have more time to publish longer stories.
