Here you go! Enjoy!

---------------------------------------------

Nathan must have guessed what I was doing, because he cursed and yelled to Simon.

But it was to late, I was already changing.

I fell to the floor as my spine changed, forcing me to the ground.

My clothes shredded into small pieces and fluttered to the ground. I heard commotion, and people yelling.

I was all wolf now. My eyes opened, and I saw Simon, still holding the syringe, but with a look of awe on his face.

Nathan had disappeared, I couldn't see him.

I growled and stalked slowly toward Simon. I wasn't going to actually hurt him, just scare the living crap out of him. Then again, if he came at me first, I wasn't going to sit back and try not to hurt him, I would fight.

But Simon wasn't easily scared. He held his ground, looking me in the eye.

"Kate, don't be unreasonable."

Yeah, they kidnapped me, and I was being unreasonable.

I saw motion out of the corner of my eye, and twisted to see another scientist, holding what I assumed was a tranquilizer gun. He would be the first one down. Then I would take out Simo-

The man's eyes shifted behind me and I realized my mistake.

But it was too late. Simon, taking advantage of my distraction plunged a needle deep into my shoulder.

But it was a different one, this one was filled with some kind of purple liquid.

He jumped back out of range, taking the now empty syringe with him.

I howled with rage, lunging toward Simon. But my legs collapsed beneath me, and the room started to spin.

As I blacked out I heard Simon,

"Kate I'm sorry but you need to learn how...." And that was all I heard.

I awoke groggily back in my cell.

I was still in wolf form, and I lurched to my feet. The room started to spin and I promptly fell back down.

I laid on the floor, letting my head clear.

I could see the girl across the hall again.

She looked young. Too young. She shouldn't be here.

She couldn't be more thirteen.

She was studying me, and I looked back. She looked at me questioningly and I thumped my tail in response, trying to assure her I was ok.

When I wagged my tail she smiled and waved back.

It broke my heart to see someone so young here. I mean i wasn't much older, but still. Where we're her parents?

I attempted to stand again, and was happy to realize I could without falling.

I glanced back at the girl, then headed to the bathroom, (If you could call it that) to change.

Again, there was another pile of clothes waiting for me.

I changed to human quickly, and dressed even quicker.

Then I heard a small click and whirring sound. I looked toward the sound and saw a small camera in the corner ceiling, aimed directly at me.

Oh hell no.
