Abyss

Am I looking into an abyss?
Or is it the night sky?
All I see is emptiness,
Through my cloudy eyes.

The abyss is dark
And forever deep.
A sky so stark,
Like the never awakened sleep.

A vortex of rage,
A pool of black.
My heart caged
By the love it's lacked.

Dangerous waves
Of black swirls.
The death it craves,
To be rid from this world.

The black hole,
Rids all life.
It swallows
All my fight.

It is dark and malevolent.
The ever calling abyss.
Death, I am content with.
And feel the edging, deadly kiss.

I look into the eyes of darkness,
Past my own cloudy veil.
I fall into the abyss,
My black heart impaled.

Gone from existence,
Never to be missed.
Gone in an instant,
Drowned in the abyss.
