The video attached is mentioned in this chapter and I'll tell you when you need to watch it because it'll give you a better understanding of Pierre's voice and looks.
--Courtney's P.O.V--
Dyeing Hayley's hair actually took less time than I thought. We were done around one and her hair turned out beautifully. I found myself feeling quite jealous. However, that jealousy faded away as I remembered that we had to go to the doctor's office next.
Hayley kept assuring me that the visit would be quick and painless and it was very hard to believe her, but she ended up being right. The whole visit had to take at least twenty minutes and most of it consisted of the doctor asking me questions about whether I was sexually active or not. Hayley informed him that the reason why I wanted birth control was because my period was very irregular. He gave them to me in a heartbeat after that.
Now we back on the bus, heading towards Atlanta. Simple Plan decided to join us on our bus until we stopped to get gas and that made the lounge quite crowded. I was basically sitting on Pierre's lap with my legs positioned in David's while they played Mario Kart.
"I can't believe you are beating me!" Josh exclaimed at Chuck, who was the only one in front of him. "I'm usually the master at this!"
"Well," Chuck said, concentration written all over his face, "you haven't played against me before." Pierre chuckled. "Chuck is really good at Mario Kart. That's all he played in his basement when we were recording No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls."
I looked at my boyfriend. "What gave you guys the bright idea to name your album No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls?"
Taylor chuckled as he zoomed passed Jeff on Mario Kart, now putting himself in third place. "They named their album that because it's hilarious."
Hayley rolled her eyes. "It's guy humor."
David grinned. "We actually named our album that because none of us were really into sports when we were younger and the title No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls makes the average person think of sports. In sports, you have pads and helmets to protect yourself, but the album title is saying you are just devoted to the ball that belonged to that sport hence the Just Balls part. However, if you aren't average or normal, you think of it in a dirty way."
I rolled my eyes, turning my head back to look at the TV screen. Chuck ended up in first place with Josh closely behind followed by Jeff, who stole his spot back from Taylor. Pierre was right behind Taylor in sixth place while David was in dead last.
"I vote that we do something else," Hayley declared. "Courtney and I have watched you guys play video games for the last hour. It's our turn to pick a game now."
"Oh, this should be great," David groaned, leaning his head against my legs. Pierre glanced at me. "Please come up with something we can handle."
"I think Hayley already has the game made up," I commented. The highlighter haired girl nodded. "We are going to do karaoke. Taylor and I always bring a karaoke machine on tour with us because it's very entertaining when we are bored."
David actually seemed to like the idea, but it was because he was the backup vocals in Simple Plan. Singing was right up his alley along with Hayley, Pierre, and I. However, everyone else seemed excited as well.
"Hey, Courtney, go get Tyler while Taylor and I hook the machine up," Josh asked me. "He's always wanted to do karaoke. Ask Jenna if she wants to play as well."
The world seemed to plotting against me. Well, Josh anyway. He knew Tyler and I weren't on the best of terms at the moment and that he didn't like the thought of Pierre and I together yet he still wanted me of all people to go get him out of his bunk. Including Jenna in the equation was an even worse idea.
