Chapter 18

My life flashed in front of my eyes, what there was of it, most parts, I could'nt remember because I was so young and my parents murder had been erased from my memory. I focused on Hawk, I had to get through this for him, he was the one I had waited for. The darkness took hold me and I became one with it, embracing it like a moth to a flame.
"Katie"
A voice called to me it seemed to be very far away, I tried to pull my senses togther and I think, I made a noise. I wanted to wake up but my eyes hurt, I could move my head and then slowly my eyes opend. I was in a room, on a bed, I blinked, I had been dreaming?
I shook my head, a dream more like a nightmare wait untill Jamed heard this, I walked from the bed into the bathroom, I washed my face and looked into the mirror and screamed.
The bedroom door burst open, with a crash through the opening came Hawk, my memory suddenly came back to me and my legs became like jelly, he caught me in his arms.
"It's alright Katie, I got you" Hawk said, as we sank to the floor.
"I remember everything, my friends, the camp, you" I said, sobbing
"I know, I am sorry for everything"
"I don't feel any different, I still feel like me"
"Just because your heart changes does not mean you do" Hawk said, kissing my cheek
I realised he was right and I smiled, I felt brand new, I lookex at Hawk.
"You saved me again, cheated death itself, why do that?" I asked
"I have been waiting to. Waiting and waiting, now here you are" Hawk replied, he placed his hand om my cheek and pulled me to him, and we kissed it felt different like there was a bond between us, I had to know what he saw in me.
"Why me? What do you see in me?" I asked
"Your brave, stuborn and beautiful" Hawk replied
"No I'm not" I shook my head
"You are, i'll prove it, sand up" Hawk said, as he closed his eyes
As I stood the dress I had been wearing fell down like a gosamer sheet, not making a sound, it rumpled on the floor, and I stood there naked and unafraid for the first time.
"Let me see you" Hawk said, he stepped close, and his hand touched my hair, moved down to my forehead, eyes, nose, cheeks and lips his fingers lingerd on my lips.
"Your face is beautiful" Hawk said, he traced his fingers down my neck, and brought the other hand up to my shoulders, his hands moved over them lightly and moved down my arms.
"Your neck and arms purfect" Hawk said, his hands came back up to the nape of my neck now he was going to get a surprise, I smiled to myself. His right hand fingers moved lower found my right breast, and his left found the other, they stopped and I giggled, Hawk opend his eyes and they found my own they were burning, and I understood my own eyes burnt back.
"Your so beautiful, Kat your body, your smile, just you" Hawk said
"Thank you. Hawk don't stop" I said
"Yout sure?"
"Yes" I replied, a strange heat had come from my core when Hawk touched me, and for the first time, I knew what that heat was and I knew that finaly, I was ready.
Hawk closed his eyes again, and his hands rubbed my breasts and nipples, his right hand moved down tracing along my stomach, I closed my eyes lost in the moment, I felt his lips on mine we kissed, and then his kisses found my neck sending fire through my body. His kisses found my breasts now, and his hands were on the inside of my thighs rubbing them. Then his tounge started licking my breasts and I breathed out heavily and I opend my eyes he was on his knees, he stopped and looked at me, and slowly rose up. Our mouths met and then our tounges met, his right hand moved slightly towards my secret flesh, with my right hand I reached up to his neck and pulled him to me, our bodys touching now, I removed his shirt with my left hand, and traced my fingers over his chest, Hawk looked at me.
"You want me?" Hawk asked
"Yes, Hawk I do?" I said
He lifted my off my feet, and carried me to the bed and gently lay me down.
"Hawk, be gentle" I said, as he was removing his trousers and pants.
"I will Katie, I will" Hawk replied, turning the lights off, and in the darkness we became one. After we lay in bed, Hawk put his arms around me and kissed my cheek.
"Are you alright?" Hawk asked
"Yes, I am" I replied with a nod
"Did I hurt you?"
"No, no I am fine"
"When you were at the mirror, why did you scream?"
"Oh that, well my mind was all messed up, I did'nt expect to see a reflection and when I did it scaired me and when I saw the marks on my neck" I stopped, feeling my neck where Hawk had bitten me.
"There gone" I said, confused
"Yes, all your wounds would by now" Hawk said
I looked at my wrists my cuts had gone, I rubbed the bottol of my feet all healed.
"Thats great, so its all over?" I asked
"Yes, but"
"But?"
"We need to go back"
"Go back, why?"
"Before all this you knew, nothing of vampires. We do all we can to make sure as few people find out. If people find your camp questions will be asked, it could get akward" Hawk replied
"I understand, what do we need to do?" I asked.
"Burn your camp, and that will give you a chance to say goodbye to your friends, fire pureifies thats what they say"
"When do we go?"
"As soon, as the sun is down"
"It's daytime, I did'nt realise I will never see the sun again" I said, tears rolled down my face
"I am so sorry Katie, I could not lose you"
"It's ok, just something I have to get used to" I said, he held me tighter and he kissed my cheek, I loved him and he loved me.
We sat for hours just being with one another.
"It's time" Hawk said
"I need more clothes" I said, looking at the torn dress, I had been wearing
"I took the liberty" Hawk said, opening a wardrobe full of clothes.
"Thanks" I said, impressed he was full of surprises, we both got dressed, Hawk took my hand and led me out through a long corridor and up a flight of stairs. I realised we had been underground all day, so vampies did'nt sleep in coffins after all. We came into a large house, and passed through quickly out into a garage, Hawk went to a black Aston Martin and opened it, I opend the passenger door and slid in.
"Nice car" I said
"Yes, and yes this is my house and car" Hawk said, ready for my next question, I giggeld beside him, we really were one.
"Ready?" Hawk asked
"Not realy, but this needs to be done and I have you" I said, looking at him.
"Always" Hawk replied
He started the car up and pullex out into the road, again we were on our way back to the Black mountains and the camp.
