Grace's POV
"G-grace?", mahinang sabi ni Kash habang nagmumulat ng mata.
Agad naman akong tumayo at tinawag si Aaron my labs na di ako labs.
"Aaron, gising na si Kash.", lumingon naman sila ni Ace tsaka pumasok sa kwarto.
"A-aaron.", nauutal na sambit ni Kash, malamang sinuway niya si Aaron kaya ayan, takot.
"Kash I told you."
"Pasensya na pero gusto ko talagang talunin si Higail. Please Aaron, just once.", Kash begged.
"You know why—", Kash immediately spoke to cut her cousin.
"I know why you wont let me do this, you've been feeling guilty about what happened years ago. You've been blaming yourself that it's your fault when I almost died while you're teaching me how to play soccer. Come on Aaron, it wasn't your fault.", Kashed wiped her tears before she continue. " It wasn't your fault, you didn't know I had an asthma. You've been distant since that incident happened. You never visited me, never talked to me and then, without a word, you went to states. I felt like I lost my brother and my bestfriend. Please Aaron, just this once.", Kash sniffed and wiped her tears from her cheeks. She felt Aaron's thumb brushing against her cheeks, wiping her tears.
"Ssshhhhh. Stop crying already. Fine, we'll help you, but just this time, okay?", Aaron finally said yes to Kash which finally made the lady smile.
I smiled as I witness the two exchange smiles. Finally, Kash had her chance to tell Aaron that it wasn't his fault.
Aaron's POV
I smiled when I saw her laugh with her bestfriend, Grace.
I'll just pass the ball to Ace so he would be the one teaching her. Since he's an inch better than me.
"Ace, can you do me some favor?", I asked him.
He immediately looked at me with his brows furrowed.
"Can you teach her? Since you're the captain and better than me, I guess you can teach her with those shooting skills you got." I said and he just looked at me.
"So what do you say?", I asked and he averted his gaze and stared at my beautiful cousin. Does he have to look– I mean stare at her that way?
"I don't know.", he shrugged but he's still staring at Kash. Don't be too obvious man.
"Please?", I said
"I'll think about it. I'll be going home first. See you tomorrow." Ace said and patted my shoulder before he left.
"Thanks buddy. I need your answer to be a YES.", I said as my way of saying GOODBYE.
"Don't expect it to be a YES. Expectation hurts.", Ace said while walking away.
I secretly smiled, I know he'll help her. That guy.
Khyleryle's POV
Shit! I can just say no but why'd I say "I'll think about it?" Damn, this is not good.
And what the f*ucking hell is wrong with her f*ckingly gorgeous smile?! Shit. I don't really feel good about this situation. I just have to say no.
Kashimier's POV
Glad Aaron already said yes, now, I have the chance to win.
I can't understand Higail. She challenged me with something she's really good at and which happened to be my weakness. She understands the meaning of PRIDE, right?
I looked at Aaron and he gave me a smile. I gave him a smile and I scanned my surroundings. Khyleryle left?
Oh that guy, I wasn't able to ask him about him teaching me since I completed the task. Maybe I can talk to him tomorrow.
