"Mom, Dad you're here. Where have you been, you both are a half hour late." Gabby shouted as she pulled both of us in a hug. "Well your mother has been as slow as a tortoise lately." I reached over and smacked him upon the head. They broke apart and sat down. "Mom you are looking as radiant as ever tonight." I smiled knowing that it was not true, but I loved having all of them here and together. "I am so happy that you guys invited your dad and I to dinner tonight." they all laughed. "I have something I want to tell you all, but I don't want any of you to be angry." They nodded their head to show they wouldn't freak out. "I am not expecting one, or, two, but three babies." They all gasped and applauded. "Oh Mom that's wonderful, I am so happy for you." Gabby said as she turned to Luke, Lauren, and Harley. "I win. I am the sibling with the most siblings that came at one time." They all stuck their tongues out at one another. "Gabby, I don't think that is something to be proud of my dear. Especially for my case." She just smiled at me. "Well let's order some food, my six little children must be famished." Jake said as the waitress arrived to take our drink orders. Gabby ordered coke a cola, Luke ordered a Mountain Dew, Harley ordered a sprite, Jake ordered a Mellow yellow with grenadine, and finally Lauren ordered a water because she knew I shouldn't have anything else. "She will also take a water, she is expecting." I gave Lauren the look of thank you, but you couldn't have left that part out look. "Ooh congratulations miss. I will bring you your drinks as quick as I can." the waitress awed over our table. within three minutes we all had our drinks. they were laughing, and laughing and laughing. "Mom we all have something for you, dad, and the babies." The three of them grabbed their gift from below the table. "You all didn't all need to do this, really." I took a sip of water, when I spotted something, but I couldn't tell what it was. Gabby screamed out something to me but I didn't understand. She ran around the table and ran in front of me just as a bang rang out throughout the restaurant. Gabby flew back onto me, as we both went down to ground. "Gabby, Gabby." Jake helped Gabby off of me, so that I can sit up. That's when I saw blood, I let my baby girl get shot. Jake pressed his handkerchief to the open wound that was found on her side. I couldn't believe that Gabby would risk her life to save me, her mother and her three little siblings. Gabby mumbled my name, but I didn't hear what she said. I bent down closer to my loving baby girl. "I love you mom, and please love those babies as much as you love me." Gabby closed her eyes slowly, and all I could do was beg her to stay with us.
