"Jane, you are going to be just fine. I will keep you safe." I tried to give him a truthful smile, but somehow I couldn't. "Jane, I can tell something is not right with that smile." a single tear broke through my closed eyelids. The room began spinning again, and I fell into Jake's arms. "Jane, Jane. Are you okay." When I didn't answer, Jake pulled me down onto the gurney. "Jake, I am fine, just this whole thing is over stressing. I have a really bad migraine, and the room is spinning really fast." Jake helped me take a drink of water, but I couldn't keep it down. Jake wiped my mouth, and waved over the paramedics. "She can't keep down water, and she is extremely light headed, and she has a really bad migraine." They loaded Jane up in the ambulance, and drove off to the nearest hospital. "Jake, I am just fine." He just looked at the paramedic, then back down to me. "Janey, we just want to take some precautions, so that we make sure that you are perfectly healthy." I just laughed, and tried to sit further up. Pain ragged from my stomach straight to my head. "Miss Adler, you need to remain still. We don't know what's wrong with you yet." The Paramedic reached across to grab a vial of something, he suddenly stopped. "What's wrong?" Jake asked. His hand moved across my left side, till he pushed on something. It caused a train of pain to shoot up to my head. The paramedics signaled to the driver to speed up. "What did you find?" He moved my jacket down my arm, and yanked what looked like a dart. "Miss, you were shot with a tranquilizer dart." I was just amazed, and shocked. That's when Jane's phone lit up. Jake handed me the phone, and I found that it was Agnus texting me. I grabbed Jake's arm, and handed him my phone to read her text. Jake handed the phone to the paramedic, and he immediately handed it back, and examined the dart. "I am so sorry, that I missed that mark and didn't rush you to the hospital sooner." Jake, said taking my hand in his. Traffic started to pick up, and we were still 5 minutes from the nearest hospital.
