I woke up to find Jake staring straight into my eyes. "Hey sweetheart. How are you feeling." I smiled, that he would choose to be with me, instead of staying in the room with my other children. "I am feeling great, my love." He helped me sit up, so I could be comfortable. 'Jake, what happened. Did they arrest Agnus." he nodded his head, and showed me a piece of paper. "Jake, how did you get Agnus to sign the divorce papers?". he just smirked, and told me that the the police forced her to sign it. "What happened to me after I was sent to surgery. Are the babies okay." Jake, smiled and rubbed my stomach. "The babies are perfectly fine, the only problem was that the bullet hit something, that caused one thing in particular." I was so happy that the babies were okay, but I wanted to know what the problem was. "I'm just kidding, you are healing just fine. I just wanted to see if you would be more happy that the babies are doing good, or if you would turn sad because of the one thing that made this moment worse. I love you so much." I chuckled and playfully punched his arm. "You jackass. I hate you." he laughed. "I love you." I felt a "pittle pattle" come from my still small midsection. "I love you to my little darlings." Jake kissed my midsection. "How is Gabby, and the other children." He got up and opened the door, and the room filled with all my children running. "Mom, you are all right. We were all so worried." I gave each of them a hug. "I am doing excellent now that you are all here. Hey Gabby, you are looking a whole lot better than I remember." she smiled. "Mom, I just wanted to tell you that, I am so happy for you and daddy. He told us the news while you were in surgery." I smiled, but glanced at Jake to signal information. "Hey kids, I am famished, and thirsty. Could you get your father and I something, as well as getting yourselves something too. I try to stand up, and grab my credit card out of my purse that was on the window sill. Jake helped me walk slowly, but then my head wound started to hurt. He lifted me back onto the bed, so I was lying down. He pulled his own credit card out of his jacket pocket. "Here you kids go. knock yourselves out, but please be responsible." they all chuckled and ran out of the room, faster than I have ever seen them go before. Once gone, I decided to ask Jake, why he would tell the kids about the engagement. "Janey, my darling. I didn't tell them about the marriage. Gabby was talking about that the babies were all right.". I took a deep breath, and yawned. "Jane, why don't you get some more rest, I will let you know when the kids get here with the food." I nodded and snuggled down into my pillow. I love Jake, but now we got to work on telling the children that their father and I are going to get married again.
