Chapter Thirty Eight

Everybody came back into the room with what they needed, or at least I needed. "Momma, are you feeling okay? Do you need anything?" Gabby asked, moving the hair out of my face. "No, darling. I am doing just fine." She laughed, as I tickled her. "momma , stop, please stop." The only reason I stopped was to shoot straight up in pain. I couldn't wait for these babies to be here, and the pain to end forever. I felt something weird happen. "Jake, something's happening. I don't know what it is though." He helped me lay back. I put my legs down, and felt something sticky. "Jake!!" I tried to pull the blanket down, until everyone found the bedsheet drenched in blood along with my pants. "Oh my god momma what's happening." I shook my head and felt another contraction come and and more blood stained the bed. "Okay, we need to get you to the hospital NOW." He lifted me out of the bed, and had Luke call someone who lived very close and would be willing to help your mother out." We entered the living room and Jake laid me down on my back, I was getting really tired. Three minutes passed and a knock on the door, kept me awake. Gabby answered the door, to find adam standing in the rain. "Hey everybody, I met the doctor who was almost leaving to come here, but I offered to come help you instead Jane." I pushed myself to sit up, but Adam and Jake pulled me back down. "Jane, don't move. My car is right outside and it is big enough to fit everybody. Jake hauled me up in her arms and straight out into the rain. We all piled into Adam's car, when I felt my eyelids fall faster and faster. "Jane, please stay with me. Please, you need to br strong for these babies, and your entire family. Also I need you to stay alive so that we can finally get married again, and live happily ever after." I laughed, but faded out as my body took over and let my eyes close, and my body go limp onto Jake's shoulder.
