I woke up feeling like something was wrong. A pain ripped through my stomach, but when I shot straight up I was all alone. I felt liquid running down my legs. I quickly looked down, only to find red stained on my nightgown. Oh my god, the babies. I yelled out for Jake, but no one was coming. I tried to walk downstairs, and get somebody, or the phone. my legs went numb, and I fell to the floor. All I could do was slid down the stairs. I kept calling out for Jake, but he wasn't their. The pain was excruciating, and I tried to crawl to the phone. "BAM" a roll of thunder, and a flash of lightning blared through the dark kitchen windows. Nothing can happen to these babies, they have to live. As I dialed Jake's number, all I heard was static. The storm must be interfering with the cell service. "Pound, Pound" the door screamed out to me. Who could be out in this storm? The door knob turned ever so slowly, to be yanked open. "Mom" rang out from what I heard was three voices. "What are you doing out in the snow?" I asked, as another pain ripped through me. "Mom, what is happening?" Gabby asked. I tried to push myself up, only to fall back down. "Mom, we need to get you to the hospital." Luke said picking me up in his arms. Lauren placed a blanket over me, so I wouldn't get cold. "Mom, this will help you stay semi dry, just breath, and try to relaxe. We ran out into the cold rain, and straight to lauren's car. Gabby and Luke sat with me in the back seat, to keep my calm. The pain kept getting worse, and it was getting harder to keep my eyes open. "Mommy, please stay with us. Please, we can't lose you." I placed my hand around her red cheeks, just as the worst pain ripped through my whole body. My eyes started to close, and all I heard was Luke, asking Lauren is she called Jake. The pain was now nonstop, and my eyes are way too tired to keep open. The image went black, and another image appeared, only this time I was in a hospital bed yet again. "Mom, you're awake, we thought we had lost you." Lauren took my hand. I asked where Jake was , and they all smiled. I heard the door open, as my true love walked into the room, but someone walked in behind him. "Jane, I am so happy that you are alright. We were worried about you." I tried to sit up, but that brought pain. I was pretty dazed, but I didn't realize I forgot about something important. "Jake, are the babies okay?" His smile turned upside down, and the shadow walked out from behind him. "Hello Jane." the very familiar voice, that I knew I was going to regret. Agnus stood with arms linked with Jake. "Oh I am so sorry Jane, I kind of have Jake back now, and about your babies. Yeah they're dead." I couldn't believe that all my babies are gone. My children pulled me into a hug, and all I heard was Jake yelling at Agnus for being rude. All I remember was screaming "no" at the top of my lungs. The image went away again, and I finally shot straight up in my own bed. Jake wasn't beside me, but their was no pain. It was just a dream, I thought, but where was Jake. Did something happen to Jake?
