Being the only girl in the Glade had its ups and downs. You were teased for not being able to do stuff the rest of the boys could do. Your memories were completely wiped out, except for one. It was a boy, but you didn't know who he was or what he was to you. He just looked really familiar. Every night, when you closed your eyes, images of you and him together would flash like a slideshow, but then they would disappear too fast.
Minho and Ben were your closest friends, because you were a runner and you always ran with either one of them since they didn't allow you to run alone. They didn't want to "risk" losing the only girl in the Glade.
It was that time of month, where the box sends up a new Greenie. The box was clanking and making noises as it was coming up. You joined the crowd that was surrounded by the Box and waited for the new Greenie.
"Yes! I'm not the Greenie anymore!" Chuck exclaimed when the sound of the Box stopping rang through your ears. You laughed at Chuck's comment. Gally lifted the lid of the box and jumped in.
"Day one Greenie. Rise and shine." He said and pulled the new Greenie out of the Box, which caused him to fall in front of us. He started to panic (Panic! At The Disco hehe) then he took of running. You actually thought he would make a good runner. Well that was until he face planted. Everyone laughed, but you felt sympathy for the guy.
After everyone cleared up, you walked over to the new guy and tapped him on his shoulder. He jumped and turned around, looking startled. You gave him a warm smile and that seemed to calm him down a little bit.
"I'm Y/N. Can you remember your name?"
"T-Thomas."
Wait Thomas? That was the name that was repeated over and over every time those memories flashed through your head. Then you really looked at his face. It was the same boy from your memories.
"Thomas?" You whispered. And he looked at you, and that's when a look of realization formed on his face.
"Y/N?"
Then it hit you. He was your boyfriend before you were sent up to the maze. You last memory of him flashed in your mind.
"Thomas! Thomas please don't let them take me! Please." You begged with tears streaming down your face. He cupped your face with his hands and kissed you with a lot of passion. It was like a kiss that said goodbye.
"I will see you soon Y/N. I love you so much. Don't worry. We'll see we each other again and we'll be together again. After that, we will never have to say goodbye again. I promise. I love you so much Y/N"
"I love you too Thomas"
"I'll see you soon baby" That was his last words to you before they took you and erased your memories and sent you up in the Box.
"Oh my gosh it's really you!" You wrapped your arms around his neck and his instantly wrapped around your waist. You snuggled your face in his neck, feeling the heat radiate off his body.
"I missed you so much Y/N"
"I missed you too Thomas" You said, then pressed your lips to his. He didn't hesitate to kiss back. THe Gladers looked at you two in confusion.
"Wow Y/N he hasn't even been here an hour and you're already snogging him" Newt joked.
"Newt do you remember me telling you about those memories of a boy?" Newt nodded. "This is him."
Newt's face flushed red with embarrassment.
"Okay then, enjoy your time together." He said and walked away. You laughed then turned to Thomas and kissed him again.
