Chapter 3- The Big News

Ricky's POV

We all spent the night at Brelynn's I laid with Skyler and Brelynn in Skyler's room. Skyler had a queen sized bed and it was perfect for our little family. I walked over to the kitchen.

"Hey, man." Chris said, looking at me and I smiled, getting a drink from the fridge. "Hey, I just had a quick question?" He asked and I nodded, I grabbed the Rockstar. I put on the counter and looked at Chris.

"Yeah, what's up?" I asked, opening my drink and taking a sip.

"What are you going to do with Jamie?" Chris asked, my mind went out the window and my drink went spitting out of my mouth.

"Shit! Jamie." I said, laying my head on the table and rolling on my forehead.

"Good, question. What about Jamie?" Brelynn asked, standing there with her arms crossed and she was so disappointed.

"Brelynn, I can explain." I said walking towards her and she stepped backwards.

"So all that promising Skyler and I that we would be a family again, was nonsense. Right?" She asked, I felt the air stiffened and I looked at her, in her brown eyes.

"No, it was something I was gonna handle. Jamie, is just some girl I was seeing, but now I know I have you and Skyler. I want to try this family thing. I had it and I want skyler to have it." I said and Brelynn nodded.

"I want that more than anything. I grew up without a mom and when I was 17, my dad got married to a 25 year old and I dealt with it. I never want Skyler to go through something like that." Brelynn said and I nodded. "But, you didn't want a kid and some of my friend's parents didn't want kids, they got abused. I'm not saying I think you would've done that but I didn't want to take a risk. I want Skyler to feel loved. So I left, for the sake of the little girl in that room. I didn't want to leave but I did. I have a life here and I didn't expect you to not get over me. So having a girlfriend is fine with me. But then you promised Skyler that we would be a family. I hate asking you this, but was it going to be?" Brelynn asked and I looked down.

"I'm sorry I don't know. I need time to think." I said, looking at her and she nodded. She looked down.

"Well, i'm going to go get ready for work and get Sky ready for school." She said backing away and going back into Sky's room.

Brelynn's POV

I walked back into Skyler's room and closed the door behind me. I closed my eyes and exhaled.

"Alright, Sky. Come on baby let's get up." I said walking over to Skyler and shaking her lightly. She woke up with a small yawn and she looked around the room.

"Whewe is um dad?" She asked and I smiled, I kissed her head. "He is gone isn't he?" She asked, rubbing her eyes and I shook my head.

"No, he is getting some food. Come on time to get ready for school." I said and she sighed, she pulled the blanket over her head.

"NO! I don't want to!" She said, I chuckled and pulled the blankets off her, she sighed. "Okay, fine." She said, standing up and walking over to the dresser. She pulled on her Batman shirt, black skinny jeans and some black vans. "What a dark and dreadful morning, I love it." She said, quoting Morticia Addams and I chuckled.

"I've raised you right." I said, kissing her head and she smiled.

"Yeah, okay now for you mommma." She said and I nodded. We walked into the bathroom.

"How should I do my hair?" I asked, messing with it as she began to brush her teeth.

"Cuwly, and big dawk eyes, nude lip." She commanded and I nodded.
