Brelynn's POV (Picture of Skyler)
"Brelynn, I have something to tell you." RIcky said, I turned to him and I smiled.
"Yeah what's up?" I asked, I stirred my spoon in my mug of coffee.
"Mommy! Mommy! I can I have a bagel." Skyler came running downstairs in her favorite Eeyore shirt and black pants.
"Sure thing. What's up Ricky?" I asked, going back to him and I turned to go into the pantry.
"Um, no it can wait." He said, stuttering and I grabbed the bagels.
"No, it sounded important. Come on tell me." I begged, throwing the bagels on the counter and going to the fridge for cream cheese. I walked over to the other side of the fridge, getting a plate and a knife. I walked back over to the counter with the bagels on it and started making Skyler's breakfast.
"Well, um. Yesterday. Our manager Josh called and told us that we have to go on tour. In a couple weeks." Ricky said, I was in mid scooping and I stopped. I looked up at him, in the silence you could almost hear my heart shattering.
"What?" I asked, my voice cracked and my breathing increased.
"Hey, hey. It's okay it's like in three weeks." He said, running over to me and he rested a hand on my side hip. It feels like I just got him back only to get him ripped away, again.
"No, daddy!" Skyler screamed running over towards us and she hugged his leg tightly. "You can't leave!" She screamed and I exhaled, turning to her.
"Sky i'm sorry. I don't want to leave but I have too." He said, picking her up and she wrapped her arms around his torso.
"No, i'm not letting go!" She screamed and probably started doing her death squeeze. The first few weeks she wouldn't let me go when it was time for school and thus created the death grip, it's gotten better over the years but still hurts.
"Sky, i'm not going anywhere for a while okay?" Ricky cooed and rubbed her back, the mussels in her arms softened.
"Pwomise?" A small weak voice asked and it broke my heart even more. I rubbed her back with Ricky, Ricky's mouth curved into a surprised your-killing-me frown and I've made that expression once or twice.
"Sky it's time for school." I said patting her back and she tilted her head back.
"Pwomise?" She asked, looking at Ricky and their eyes connected.
"Yeah, i promise." Ricky said and he put her down, she smiled.
"Can both you and mommy dwive me to school?" She asked, looking at the both of us and I looked at Ricky.
"Yeah, i'm going to work with mommy today." Ricky said, picking her back up and taking her to her room, for her school stuff. I looked down and realized I stilled needed to make Skyler her breakfast. I quickly finished her bagel and put it in a bag. I grabbed my keys and my purse. Just as I reached the front door, Ricky and Skyler hit the bottom of the stairs.
"Ready to go?" I asked, my voice still cracking from the news and I coughed, trying to play it cool. I smiled at them, Ricky looked at Sky and she smiled, nodding her head. We walked out to the car and Ricky buckled in Skyler.
"Mommy, did you make my bagel?" She asked, I nodded and tossed it back to her.
-AT THE TATTOO SHOP-
I walked in, with Ricky and he slipped his hand into mine. I smiled. When the door shut Ryan-Ashley and Balz's heads popped up. Ryan-Ashley's eyebrow went up when she saw our hands locked together and Balz smirked seductively.
"Are you guys a thing?" Balz asked, running over to us and throwing his arm around my shoulder. I looked over at Ricky and he raised an eyebrow at me, while smiling.
"Maybe." I said, turning to Ricky and leaning in for a kiss. But as soon as Ricky leaned in, I turned in the other direction and walked towards Ryan-Ashley. Both Balz and Ryan-Ashley laughed, then after a couple of seconds Ricky opened his eyes. I laughed.
"So your gonna be that way today?" He asked, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow at me. I smiled and winked at him, putting my purse down.
"Yeah, let's go with that." I said, smiling and sat down next to Ryan-Ashley.
"I want coffee!" Balz whined and stomped his foot, I just chuckled.
"Oh Starbucks sounds great." Ryan-Ashley said and I nodded.
"For real thou!" I said and we looked at one another, then at Balz and Ricky.
"Hey, hey babe!" Ryan-Ashley said, smiling and Balz looked at her.
"Whatt?" He asked dragging out the 't' and she smiled.
"You should go to Starbucks and get us coffee." Ryan-Ashley nudged and I nodded, looking at Ricky.
"Okay if you insist, but Ricky you are coming with me." He said, dragging Ricky out with him.
"So what's up with you and Ricky?" She asked, turning to me and I smiled.
"We are back together." I said, pushing my bags out of my face and nodded.
"Oh that's so good. I'm glade. When did it happen?" She asked, I chuckled looking up and then back down.
"Last night." I said, then looked down and drew patterns in my leg.
"Good! It's about time!" She said and I chuckled with her. "You found out about them leaving didn't you?" She asked and I nodded.
"Yeah, I literally just got him back and he's leaving." I said and looked at her, she nodded.
"Yeah, dose Skyler know?" She asked and I nodded.
"Oh yeah, she freaked out. She hugged Ricky and made him promise not to go anywhere." I said, sitting up straight and she looked surprised.
"Did he actually promise?" She asked, with her eyebrows almost off her face.
"Yeah, but it's only a matter of time before he has to go and I don't want him to stay behind and quiet his dream. I want him to go, i'm gonna have to talk to Skyler about it thou." I said and she nodded.
