Chapter 19- Quinn

Brelynn's POV

"Mommy do you have to go? I don't want you to go." Skyler said, she was sitting on the bed as I folded up some laundry and put it int my suitcase.

"Yes, Sky i'm going back to see grandma, Auntie Angie, Auntie Brit and Uncle Koby." I said, putting the last of my clothes in the bag and looking at her.

"Then can't I go with you?" She asked and I smiled, sitting next to her. Wrapping my arm around her shoulder.

"I'm sorry baby no. You missed a lot of school when we went on tour with daddy. So you need to stay here with him and Quinn." I said, rolling my eyes saying her name and Sky giggled.

"I like Quinn, she gives me cookies." Skyler said and I nodded.

"I'm glade you like her. She is good to you?" I asked and Sky nodded. I smiled, I got up off the bed and sipped up my suitcase. I put it back on the ground and looked at Skyler. She was staring at her hands in her lap and she was sad. I sighed, sitting on the edge of the bed. "What'll make you happy right now?" I asked and she looked up.

"I want you to stay here, I want you and daddy to be togever. I like Quinn, she can stay with Auntie Rywan." She said, I chuckled while shaking my head.

"I don't think that'll happen bub. I'm going to leave tomorrow and you are going with your dad. Quinn is staying with your dad and Quinn will live with your father." I said and she sighed.

"But can I stay with Auntie Rywan and Uncle Josh till Satuwday?" She asked and I sighed, nodding.

"Let's go ask them." I said, picking her up and walking out of the room. I walked down to the kitchen, where Josh was cooking and Ryan-Ashley was sitting with him. "Guys, Sky wants to ask you something." I said, putting Skyler on the ground. Josh and Ryan-Ashley looked at Skyler, with smiles on their faces.

"Auntie Rywan and Uncle Joshie can I pwetty pwase stay with you til Satuwday?" She asked and they looked at me, I shrugged. Then they looked at one another.

"Of course you can stay Sky. But I thought that you wanted to go with your dad?" Ryan-Ashley asked and walked over to her, picking her up.

"I did, but I don't want to be with him and Quinn. She is leaving on Satuwday." Skyler said, looking at Ryan-Ashley and Josh. Ryan-Ashley, Josh and I all gave one another worried glances, then looked back at Skyler.

"Hun I thought you like Quinn." I said, walking over to her and Ryan-Ashley.

"I do, but sometimes, hew and daddy yell a lot. And daddy is always with hew. Sometimes I just want to be with daddy." She said, crossing her arms. Ryan-Ashley and I looked at one another.

"Come here, kid. Of course you can stay. Help me cook dinner?" Josh asked, taking Skyler and she nodded. Ryan-Ashley and I walked over to the back door, to go out in the back.

"Do you think I should call him?" I asked, sitting on the chair and looking at Ryan-Ashley. I pulled out a cigarette and popped it into my mouth.

"No, you should go see him. Isn't Skyler afraid of yelling?" Ryan-Ashley asked and I nodded. I don't think i'm all that comfortable with Quinn as I thought I was.

"When should I go see him?" I asked and she looked at me, then glanced down.

"Go now. I mean, Josh and I will watch Skyler, feed her. We'll watch a movie and you need to go talk to him. Face to face." She said and I nodded.

"Alright, i'm going to go now. Are you sure you're cool if she wants to say here?" I asked and she nodded.

"Of course we are. We love her, I mean Josh and I treat her like our own." She said and I nodded stomping my cigarette out. We both walked inside and I walked over to Skyler.

"Hey, Sky. I gotta go pick something up. Auntie Ryan and Uncle Josh are going to watch you, okay?" I asked and she nodded.

"Okay." She said, kissing my cheek and I grabbed, my car keys. I walked out the front door, over to my car and started to drive over to Ricky's place. When I got to Ricky's house, I could hear the yelling from my car. I got out and walked to the front door. I don't know if they could even hear me with all the yelling but the front door went flying open. Quinn stood there red in the face and rolled her eyes at me, then walked onto the house.

"I'm leaving!" She yelled, grabbing her purse and walking out the door. I was facing towards the door and I felt two arms grab my shoulders.

"Go ahead leave!" Ricky screamed, I turned and faced him. Once he realized it was me he dropped his hands and itched the back of his neck.
" Ricky we need to talk." I said and he nodded, the offered me a seat on the couch. I sat down and looked at him.

"Can I get you something to drink?" He asked and I nodded. He ran to the kitchen and came back with an Ice tea. I took a sip then looked at him.

"Skyler wants to stay with Ryan-Ashley and Josh, till Saturday." I said and he nodded.

"If that's what she wants. Then that's fine." He said, looking at me.

"She told me that she wants to stay with then, till Quinn is gone. She said you guys yell a lot and that you spend all your time with Quinn." I said and he dropped his head into his hands.

"It's true. It's all true. Brelynn I'm so sorry." He said, running his hands threw his hair.

"Ricky I'm not angry but Skyler might be, a little upset with you. It's clear you are very stressed out, and if that's the case maybe you and Quinn should break up. It's either your stressed with her or taking it out on her." I said and he looked at me.

"Your right. You are always right Brelynn." He said hugging me. I surprisingly hugged him back. As the hug ended we both looked at one another in the eyes, then we leaned in and started to kiss.
