Chapter 34- Mall Day

Brelynn's POV

Last week, I told Alex about everything. That I still had feelings for Ricky and that Ricky had feelings for me. We decided that it would be a good, clean break. Angie is sending his stuff to him in Bristol and I'm still at Ricky's house, with Skyler. 

"Mommy, can we please go to the mall now. Auntie Ryan and Uncle Joshie are waiting for us downstairs." Skyler said, walking into the room and I smiled, pulling my black ankle boots on. 

"Yes, let me grab my phone and my purse. Okay?" I asked, looking at her and she nodded. She skipped back down the hallway and went down the stairs. I walked over to my bedside table, grabbing my phone and went over to the vanity, grabbing my purse. I walked downstairs. Ryan-Ashley and Josh were talking to Ricky. "Hey where is Skyler?" I asked, walking over and she ran past me. 

"I'm ready to go to the mall! Can we please go now?" Skyler asked looking at me and then over at Ricky. Ricky picked her up, flinging her over his shoulders. 

"Yes, we can go." He said, walking past me and smiling at me. I rolled my eyes and we walked out the front door, as Josh ran after them. I waited for Ryan-Ashley and she walked over to me. 

"I saw that smile. What's going on with you too?" She asked, as we slowly walked out of the house and I looked at her. We stopped just before we reached the front door. 

"Last week he told me he loved me and I told him that I loved him." I said, looking at her and she nodded. She looked surprised at me and I nodded. 

"So are you and Alex over?" She asked, we walked out of the front door and I turned to her. I nodded, closing the door behind us and locked the door. "Are you and Ricky a thing now?" She asked, as we started walking towards the car. 

"Honestly I don't know, what we are." I said, looking at her and we stopped walking, in front of the garage. The car honked at us and we both looked. Ricky, Josh and Skyler were sitting in the car. They were waiting for us and we looked at one another, then started walking to the car. We got in and went to the mall. When we got there, Ryan, Sky and I all walked in. While Josh and Ricky stayed outside, Ricky was probably smoking a cigarette. 

"Sky, where do you want to go?" I asked, looking at her and she gave me a big toothy grin. Ryan-Ashley and I looked at one another, then back at her. 

"I want to go to the Disney store." She said, looking at us and I rolled my eyes. Then nodded, I walked behind her as we started walking to the store and then we got outside. Little girls with their mothers were walking inside and some fathers. But right when we walked in, everyone started to move quicker and moved out of our way. Skyler went over to the Frozen section, while Ryan-Ashley and I stayed by the Ariel section. 

"What's wrong with her face?" I heard a little girl ask, I turned around and looked at the girl. She was looking at her mother and her mother was looking at me. They both looked frightened at Ryan and I. I smiled, looking at them. 

"Boo!" I said, in a monotone voice and waved my hands slowly in the air. The girl and her mother, screamed. The mom picked her kid up and ran out of the store. I looked at Ryan-Ashley and we both chuckled. 

"Mommy, come look at this one." I heard Skyler say and we walked over to where she was. It was a basic, Elsa blue dress and Skyler was looking at it, like a baby looking at a stuff animal. Skyler really wanted the dress and I sighed. "You really want this one?" I asked, looking at her and pointing to the dress. She nodded, I grabbed the dress off the rack and we walked over to the cashier register.  

"Is that all for you?" The woman asked, I nodded and pulled my wallet out of my bag. "Your total is $59.95." She said, putting the dress into a plastic bag and I felt my mouth fall open. 

"60 bucks for a dress?" I asked, looking at the lady and she nodded. I looked over at Skyler and she was looking at me. 

"Is that a problem?" She asked and I looked at the gleam in Skyler's eye. I sighed, looking back at the lady, shaking my head and handing her my card.
