Chapter 26- Surpriseing Skyler

Brelynn's POV

Alex and I are in Pennsylvanian. We were at my friend Rachel's' apartment, she is in Europe and she was nice enough to offer us a place to stay and keep Skyler for the week. We're two day's ear;y so, we can clean the apartment and Ryan-Ashley invited us for a BBQ, with everyone. So we are cleaning and resting up today then going to the BBQ tomorrow. 

"Hey babe, this bed is super soft. Came here and feel." Alex said, I got up off the couch and walked over to the bedroom. Alex was spread out on the bed and I looked at him, then chuckled. He sat up, grabbing my hips and pulling me onto the bed. I giggled as he began to tickle me, after a few minutes he stopped and we laid in the bed. 

"You are right, this bed is comfy." I said looking into Alex's brown eyes and he plated a small kiss in the top of my head. 

"So what do we need to get done today so we can just chill at Josh and Ryan-Ashley's place tomorrow?" He asked and I sighed, playing with a necklace I gave him for his birthday last week.

"Well, we have to vacuum, clean off all the counters, dust and clean the sheets." I said and he nodded, I know Rachel. She hasn't been here in at least 7 months.  

"Alright let's do this." Alex said standing up and he pulled me up. I sighed and he looked at me. "Come on, then we can curl up on the couch and chill out. Watch a movie or something." He said, hugging my face and I smiled. Taking in his scent then he backed away and looked at me. I sighed then nodded my head and he pulled me up. 

"I'll clean the kitchen. Put something on, on the TV." I said, as we walked into the living room. He nodded and I went to the kitchen. I started washing the dishes and Alex out on RENT, one of my favorite musicals of all time. 

-DONE CLEANING-

Alex and I ordered Chinese food. We were sitting on the couch watching Sweeney Todd and waiting for our food to get here. My phone began to buzz, it was Ricky. He didn't know I was here, he thinks i'll be here the day I get Skyler, I swore Ryan-Ashley and Josh to secrecy. 

"Hey." I said, answering the phone and Alex looked at me. 'Ricky.' I mouthed, he nodded and turned back to the TV. 

"Hey, so Skyler wanted to talk to you." He said, I smiled and waited for Ricky to put her on the phone. After some scratchy noise and Ricky talking. 

"Hi mommy." Sky said and I let out a small excited giggle. 

"Hi baby. How was school? What did you do today?" I asked and there was a knock on the door. I looked at Alex and he nodded, getting up. 

"I learned how to write a G." She said, excitedly and I smiled. Alex came back over with my food and handed it to me. "Mommy, daddy ordered pizza and it got here. So i'll call you tomorrow. Daddy is taking me to Auntie Ryan and Uncle Joshie's for a BBQ." She said and I smiled, knowing i'd see her tomorrow. 

"Okay baby. I'll talk to you tomorrow, love you." I said and made the kissy noise. 

"Love you too mommy. Tell Alex I said hi." She said and made the kissy noise, then hung up. Alex handed me some chopsticks and I opened up my box of food. 

"Sky says hi. I can't wait to see her tomorrow." I said, looking at him and he smiled over at me. 

"I know. I missed that kid, she is funny and cute. Just like her mommy." He said, wrapping an arm around me and pulling me in close. 

-NEXT DAY- 

We were on our way to Ryan-Ashley and Josh's house. I was in black leather high-wasted pants, a white backless unicorn shirt and a cardigan, with a black skull lace cut out in the back. I had my hair straight and black ankle boots on. 

"I can't wait to see Skyler, she'll be so surprised to see me." I said, smiling and looking at Alex. 

"Yeah and also food." Alex said, I hit him lightly in the chest and looked out the car window. I started chewing on my nail. We got there and we were the last ones there, which we planed. I was all jittery and happy. Alex and I walked up to the front door. I knocked on the door. 

"Skyler the door is for you." Ryan-Ashley said, as she looked out the window to make sure it was me. Then the front door opened and Skyler looked at me, Ricky was behind her. 

"Mommy!" She screamed and ran up to hug me.
