Chapter 33- I Love You

Brelynn's POV

We got to the restaurant and Ricky got us a table within 2 minutes of being there. We both sat down at the table, looking at one another and then I glanced down at the menu. 

"What are you going to get?" Ricky asked, as he picked up the menu and I pulled out the napkin. I put the silverware down and put the napkin in my lap. 

"I'm going to get the Parmesan chicken and everything with white sauce." I said and he nodded, looking at the menu. I glanced around the restaurant and there were a few people looking at us funny, but its usual to me. 

"So i'm just going to get the same but not the white sauce." He said, putting the menu down and I nodded, looking back at him. 

"So why are we here?" I asked, cause if I didn't know then I would ask and I need to pretend like i don't know. He glanced down at his plate and then looked at me. 

"Well I need to tell-" He started but was quickly interrupted by our waiter. 

"Hi what can I get you two to drink?" He asked, looking at the two of us and I looked at Ricky. 

"Can I get a tea please?" Ricky asked and the waiter nodded, writing it down on his little notepad. Then they both turned to me and I smiled. 

"Can I just get a strawberry lemonade?" I asked and he nodded, writing it down. He walked away, then Ricky and I looked at one another. "So what were you saying before we were interrupted." I asked, pushing my hair back and rested my arm on the chair rest.

"Uh, we can talk about it later? How was your day today?" He asked, looking at me and I shrugged. The waiter came back with our drinks and then we told him what we wanted to eat.

We were walking along the lake that we went to a long time ago and Ricky grabbed my hand, lacing his fingers with mine. Our arms swung back and forth, between us. 

"Brelynn I need to tell you something." He said, turning and facing me. I nodded and sat down in the grass, I looked at him. 

"Just tell me, okay." I said, he sat down in front of me and grabbed both my hands, placing them in his lap. 

"I still have feelings for you. Since I first saw you and I've wanted to tell you. But I just don't know how okay. Then you and Alex started being together, so I figured that i'd just wait till you broke up or something. But you being at the house, just you, Skyler and I. We are a real family and I want Skyler to have that. I have that and I know that's what you want, because you didn't have that." He said and I nodded. I leaned in pushing his head towards mine, kissing him and he kissed back. "I love you." He said, looking at me in the eyes. 

"I love you." I said and he smiled, looking at me.
