Chapter 31- The Plan

Ricky's POV

"Come here Skyler!" I called from my room and sat up in my bed, for hours I've thought of ways to tell Brelynn about my feelings. But years have passed and she has changed. Skyler came running into my bedroom. 

"Yes, daddy dear." She said with a goofy smile on her face and I patted the bed beside me. 

"Come sit down kiddo." I said, she walked over and sat down on the bed. She looked at me, she looked so innocent and she has her mother's eyes. 

"What's new?" She asked crossing her legs up on the bed and placed her hands in her laps. 

"I want to tell mommy, I love her. Can you ask her about how she feels about me?" I asked, looking at her and a smiled spread across her face. 

"Okay, be right back." She said, running out of the room and I laid back on the bed, looking up at the ceiling. 

Brelynn's POV

I was folding Skyler's clothes and put them into her drawers. Skyler came running into the room, jumping into my lap and she looked at me, with a big grin on her face. 

"What are you doing girly? Did you talk to your dad?" I asked, pushing her drawer full of clothes in and looked down at her. 

"I need to talk to you and yes, I did talk to dad. He just wanted to know what I was doing. But in that time, I was thinking. Do you love daddy?" She asked, bringing the subject back up and I sighed, looking at her. 

"Sky, mommy and daddy have different lives. I love daddy and I always will, but her hurt me along time ago. Now I have Alex too, don't you like Alex?" I asked, looking at her and she nodded. 

"I do, but I want you and daddy to be together." She said, my heart broke a little hearing that she wants to have a somewhat normal family. 

"I don't know baby. It's just not happening right now." I said and she nodded getting up off my lap, she walked out of the room. I sighed, getting up and walking out behind her. She walked into Ricky's room and he sat up. I stayed behind the corner to see what she was going to tell him. 

"She said, that you and her have different lives. But she does love you and she will always love you. She has Alex thought and that it's just not happening right now. Also you hurt her." Sky said repeating everything I told her and Ricky sighed looking down. "Why did you hurt her?" She asked, I knew that he would sugar coat the truth but he is going to tell her. 

"A long time ago, she was pregnant with you and I was mean to her." Ricky said and I felt a little guilty that I left.

"Well, get purple roses, let them die and then give them to her and say you're sorry." Sky said and he nodded. "She likes dead flowers. Then take me to auntie Ryan's and Uncle Joshie. Then you too have a date night, make her favorite chicken with parmesan with white sauce." Skyler said, she knows the way to my heart.

"Thanks Skyler I owe you one." Ricky said, picking her up and giving her a hug, then a kiss on the forehead. "What do you want, the world is the limit." Ricky said, she looked at him.

"Just get mommy to be happy and be together. That's all I want." She said, my heart broke and I walked out from behind the corner. 

"Hey guys." I said, walking over towards them and they both, looked at me with fear in their eyes. 

"How long were you over there?" Ricky asked, looking at me and I didn't tell him that I knew. 

"I was in Sky's room and I was putting away her laundry. I was over there for a second. Why?" I asked, sitting on the bed and the relief on their faces was priceless. 

"Nothing you scared me." Skyler said and I smiled looking at her. 

"Sorry I didn't mean to." I said, she got out of Ricky's lap and walked over to me. She hugged me tightly and I hugged her tightly back. "Babe you want to order some Chinese food and watch the reruns of WWE from last night?"  I asked, looking at Sky and she jumped out of my lap, onto the ground. 

"Does Paige have blue hair?" She asked, I looked at Ricky and he shrugged, we turned back to her. "Yes!" She screamed running downstairs. Ricky and I both chuckled then walked down with her. Ricky started ordering the food, while Sky and I got the show working. I glanced back at Ricky, we act more like a family than I thought. I was watching him and he glanced at me, catching me starring at him. He smiled and then I smiled, then turned back to Skyler.
