Chapter 16- House Arrangements

Brelynn's POV

It's been a week since I caught Ricky in bed with some other girl and I've slept on the couch, while Skyler stays in Balz's bunk. I keep my bag in a unused cabinet in the kitchen. I'm not having it, I gave Ricky another chance and he fucked up.

"Brelynn can we please talk?" Someone asked, I looked up from my phone and surprise surprise it's Ricky. I looked back down and continued to scroll thru my texts between Britney, Kolby, Angie and I. "Brelynn, I know you can hear me. So, can we please talk?" He asked again and I stood up, the walked away.

"Hey, Balz you want to go take Skyler to the park with me?" I asked, walking into the kitchen and he nodded. "Skyler!" I yelled and she came skipping into the room.

"What?" She asked, looking at me with a smile on her face and I bent down, she walked so she was in front of me.

"You want to go to the park with Uncle Balz and I?" I asked and she nodded.

"Yeah, but can daddy come too?" She asked, she was so sad that Ricky and I weren't talking anymore. I sighed, dropping my head to the floor and then looked back up at her.

"Does he have to?" I asked and she nodded. "Alright go ask him." I said, and she smiled hugging me tightly. Then ran past me into the living room.

"Are you sure that you are ready for that?" Balz asked, helping me up and I looked at him. I crossed my arms and turned around, looking at Skyler.

"No, i'm not ready. But Skyler went 5 years without him and it's what she wants, so I'm dealing." I said and looked at him. He hugged me tightly and I sighed. "I'm going to go put on real clothes." I said, grabbing my bag and walking into the bathroom. I pulled on black patched jeans, a random tank top and my black studded combat boots. I walked out and threw my bag back in it's spot. I grabbed my phone, sunglasses and cigarettes.

"Are we ready?" Balz asked and I nodded. We walked back into the living room. Ricky and Skyler were by the door.

"Ready to go Skyler?" I asked and she nodded, she grabbed Ricky's hands. "Okay then let's go." I said, letting Balz walk in front of me and they walked out. We walked to the park, Ricky put Skyler up on his shoulders and she thought it was the best thing in the world. Balz and I walked slower behind them. When we got to the park, Skyler pulled Ricky to the swings. They were her favorite part.

"So what are you gonna do, when we get back to PA?" Balz asked, looking at me and I ran my fingers threw my hair.

"Probably try and get my own place. Then Ricky and I can switch off with Skyler." I said, looking at him and he nodded.

"How long do you think til you can get your own place?" Balz asked and I pulled out a cigarette.

"At least two months." I said, looking at him and he nodded.

"You know that if you need to get out as soon as we get back, Ryan-Ashley and I have a spare bedroom at our house." He said looking at me and I took a drag of my cigarette, shaking my head.

"No, I can't ask that of you guys. You guys got me job and I don't want to pry on your lives." I said and he chuckled.

"Brelynn, you've been threw so much shit and you're an amazing person, of course we'd do this for you." Balz said, looking at me and I nodded.

"I don't know. I mean I want out. I want out so bad. But I don't want to bother you guys." I said and he turned to me. He looked in my eyes.

"Brelynn you aren't bothering us. You need some help getting up on your feet and it's not like you are a crazy out of control person. You are coming to stay with me, til you get on your feet got it?" He asked and I sighed.

"Fine, but it's really not necessary." I said and he lightly hit me in my arm.

"Yes, it is and it's okay. We'll figure it out." He said and we turned to look at Skyler. Her and Ricky were playing on the slide, she ran over to me.

"Mommy, come on." She said pulling me up and pulled me over to the slide, next to Ricky. "Watch this!" She commanded then ran over to the stairs. So she could slide down.

"So what are you and Balz talking about?" Ricky asked, I crossed my arms and watched Skyler.

"When we get to PA, i'm moving out and living with Ryan-Ashley and Balz, til I get on my feet." I said and Skyler was crawling thru the tunnels.

"What? Are you taking Skyler?" He asked and I nodded. "No, you can't take her away, I just got her back." He said and I watched him turned to me, in the corner of my eye.

"We will figure it out when i'm ready. Because may I remind you that Skyler found you having sex with another girl. So I think I can do what I want with her right now." I said and she came to the slide.

"Mommy awe you watchin'? She asked and I smiled, looking up at her.

"Yeah, come on baby." I said and she slide down. "Oh my Gosh you are so big baby girl." I said, picking her up and walking her back over to where Balz was.

"Uncle Balz did you see me?" She asked, looking at him and he nodded.

"I did, you're all grown up kid." He said and she smiled.
