Chapter 30- Feelings and Alex

Brelynn's POV

Alex went back to Europe for his acting job and I decided to stay in with Ricky. I moved all my stuff and I was staying in his guest room. So I get to see Skyler everyday and i'm so happy.  

"Mommy, are you going to drive me to school today?" Skyler asked, looking at me and I got up off the bed. I smiled down at her and picked her up. 

"I don't know, let's see what daddy says. Okay?" I asked, looking at her and she nodded. We walked down into the kitchen and Ricky was making some food. We walked over to him and he looked at Skyler, then smiled. 

"Hey kiddo." He said, kissing her cheek and smiling at me. "So Sky, breakfast is almost ready." He said and we both nodded, he turned back to the pancake in the skillet. I put her down and she ran over to the kitchen table. 

"So I was wondering if i'm going to drop Sky off at school or are you going to?" I asked, running my hands threw my hair. 

"Um, well are going to the shop today?" He asked and I nodded. "Well, I was going to go too. Josh and Chris will be there, so. Why don't we just go altogether?" He asked and I shrugged. 

"Uh, yeah we can do that." I said, he nodded putting the pancake onto a plate and I started walking back upstairs to finish getting ready. I finished my make-up and doing my hair. 

"Brelynn are you ready?" Ricky yelled and I grabbed my bag, then walked downstairs. We dropped Sky off at school and then went to the shop. I walked in and was greeted by Ryan-Ashley. We walked over to the our stations for our morning gossip. Ricky walked into the back to go hang out with Josh and Chris.  

"So what's up buttercup?" She asked and I smiled, sitting down. 

"Nothing much, Alex called to tell me that he has to kiss some girl for the show last night." I said, I wasn't mad but I wasn't happy either. 

"Oh, how do you feel about that?" She asked and I looked down at my feet, then back up at her. I sighed, running my hand threw my hair and looked her in the eyes. 

"Well, I mean I know that it's his job and that it's not like he wants to marry her, or be with her. But I just feel weird about it and that over in Europe, they do the sex scenes completely naked in front of one another. It's just weird knowing that he will be looking at her naked." I said and Ryan-Ashley nodded. 

"Have you talked to him about it?" She asked and I shook my head, I sighed. I threw my head back, looking up at the ceiling. "I'm thirsty, i'll be back to get a drink." She said, standing up. 

"No, i'll get one with you." I said, getting up and following her into the back. We walked into the back, Chris, Josh and Ricky were sitting on the couches, talking about who knows what. 

"So Brelynn, how is it not having Alex around?" Chris asked, I looked over at him and sighed loudly. Ryan-Ashley went to the fridge and grabbed a drink for her. Then she handed one to me. 

"Uh, it's different. I mean we've been together everyday since we've been together but I know that he has a job. So I miss him but he has gotta work." I said, opening my drink and sipping it. 

"So, where is he?" Josh asked, Ryan-Ashley was standing next to me and sipping her drink. I tried to remember but my mind went blank. 

"Hold on, let me check. I can't remember." I said, pulling my phone out and looked at our messages. "Uh, he is in Bristol UK." I said, putting my phone away and I looked at them. 

"That's cool. How long is he going to be there?" Chris asked, I sighed and looked down. 

"About three months. So after this week and next is over i'm gonna back to Colorado. Then sometime soon i'll go to Bristol for a week or something." I said, smiling and started to think about seeing Alex again. 

"When do you think you'll see him again?" Josh asks and Ricky shifts, he looks pissed. But things have changes over the years and I gave up on him. But sometimes I wonder if I gave up to soon. "Bre." Josh says, interrupting my thoughts and I turn my attention from Ricky to Josh. 

"Uh, sorry. Um. I don't know yet." I said, sipping my drink. 

Ricky's POV

I watched as Brelynn stared at me and she was thinking about something, something hard. But Josh interrupted her and she talked about Alex again. Ryan-Ashley and her walked back into the front of the shop. 

"So Ricky, you still gotta thing for Brelynn?" Chris said, looking at me and I turned to look at him. Both him and Josh were staring at me, big grins on their faces. I rolled my eyes. 

"She is the mother of my child and I never really got over her." I said, glancing over at the front area of the shop. She was standing there and she was talking to some costumer. She stopped and looked over at me, she smiled, then walked away. I smiled back to myself and sighed.
