Chapter 6- 7 Years

Brelynn's POV

I woke up and it was still dark outside. I grabbed my phone and looked at the time, it was only 4 o'clock in the morning. I sat up, throwing my phone at the end of the bed and ran my fingers threw my hair.

"Can't sleep?" A mumble came from the side of me and I turned, Ricky was looking at me. He was holding onto the blanket tightly and looking at me.

"No, I guess not." I said and laid my legs flat on the bed. "Are you cold?" I asked, he nodded and clutched the blanket tighter. I smiled and laid back down, I scooted close to him. He let go of the blanket only to grab onto me and he pulled me into him, then wrapped the blanket around us.

"You're warm." He said, looking at me right in the eyes and I nodded.

"Yeah. I kinda need to be. Being from Colorado and all." I said and he nodded. He closed his eyes and I bit my lip. It's killing me not knowing where he was today. If he can lie about where he was today, then how can I trust him with Skyler? "Ricky?" I asked and his eyes opened.

"Yeah, what's up?" He asked, I looked down and then I looked back up at him.

"Ricky, I know that you weren't at Chris's." I said and he froze, his face was blank.

"What, how?" He asked, looking slightly away from me and my hand tighten on the blanket, behind him.

"Well, I was working, when Balz walked in. I asked him how was the meeting and he said there wasn't one. So I asked Andi about it and she said that Chris wasn't even awake yet. I was hoping that you would've told me and not lied to me but you did lie to me." I said, clearly upset and he sighed loudly.

"Brelynn, there were some things that I needed to take care of." He said, making an excuse.

"Ricky, I don't care where you go. You are an adult and I trust you. I'm upset that you lied to me." I said, trying to explain and he nodded.

"I'm sorry, I lied to you." He said and I nodded.

"It's fine, but in order for this thing to work. We need to be honest with one another." I said and he nodded, his arms tightened around me. At some point we both fell asleep.

-LATER IN THE MORNING-

I woke up, it wasn't much later. It was still dark outside and I got up, quickly. I walked out of the bedroom and walked over to go see Skyler. I stood and opened the door, a small yawn peaked threw the blankets. She sat up in the bed and looked at me. "Hey mommy." She said, rubbing her eyes and I chuckled. I walked over to her and sat next to her.

"Hey baby. You hungry?" I asked and she nodded.

Ricky's POV

I woke up, my phone was ringing and I reached over to the bed. I grabbed my phone and answered it.

"Hello?" I asked, groggily.

"Hey, slippy head. I was seeing if you were up." Brelynn's voice asked, through the phone and I sat up. Every time I heard her voice, I get butterflies.

"Um. Yeah. Why what's up? What time is it?" I asked stretching my arms up and yawning.

"Um, well it almost noon. Chris wants everyone to meet over at our house." She said and I rubbed my eyes.

"Yeah, whatever. I'll order pizza at 6 and bring everyone over when you leave work. I'll pick up Skyler as well. Okay?" I asked and walked over to the bathroom.

:"Okay." She said and hung up.

-LATER ON-

I sat up in the bed, it was still relatively early. The moonlight was still shining in through the curtains. I got out of bed to go check on Skyler in her bedroom. She let out a small soft yawn and sat up in her bed.

"Morning mommy." She said and I smiled at her from the doorway of her bedroom. I walked over to her and sat on her bed.

"Morning baby." I said, hugging her and she hugged me back.

"Mommy. I'm hungry." She said and I nodded. I stood up, then bent down to pick her up and we walked downstairs.

-LATER IN- Ricky's POV

I woke up to my phone buzzing at my side, I reached over and grabbed it.

"Hello?" I asked, groggily as I answered the phone.

"Hey I was wondering if you were up." Brelynn's voiced threw the phone and as always butterflies filled my stomach. That always seems to happen, when we touched or talked.

"Um, yeah I'm up." I said sitting up in the bed and yawning. "Well, Chris wants everyone to come over. Is that okay?" She asked and I stretched my free arm up.

"Yeah that's fine. Um bring everyone over when you come home from work. I'll get dinner and Skyler. Okay?" I asked and started to get up.

"Yeah, see you then." She said and hung up.

-COUPLE HOURS LATER-

"Mommy!" Skyler yelled as, the front door opened and voices filled the once quiet house. I walked away from the pizza that was laid on out on the table and walked over to meet everyone. Everyone was here, and I mean everyone. Balz, Ryan-Ashley, Andi, Chris, Kelly, Angelo, Kylie, Ghost, Ryan, Allie and then of course Brelynn. I walked over and smiled, as I suddenly was intertwined in the conversation. All threw out the night we talked and laughed, just having a good time over all.

"Mommy, i'm tired." Skyler said and Brelynn picked her up, to take her up to bed.

"Wait, can you wait just a sec?" Chris asked, Brelynn nodded as we all turned to look at him and she held onto Skyler. Chris stood up and Andi smiled, as they meet in the middle.

"We just wanted to tell you. That after being together for 7 years we've decided." Andi said, excitedly.

"Just huwy up and get to the good stuff." A small tired voice said and we all chuckled, knowing Skyler said it.

"We are getting married!" They said, excitedly.
