Lindsey was walking down the street and staring at her little timer. The stress of being alone all these years was getting to her. Although she was staring at her timer, she wasn't processing what she saw. She looked up into the bright snow-fluffy clouded sky and was nearly blinded, so she looked back down at the ground to a darker setting that her eyes could adjust to. However it was way too bright still, so her eyes started watering. She looked down at her timer and stared in surprise.

Some idiot walked right into her as she looked up for her soulmate. She sighed as she squatted down to pick up whatever he dropped. He was just squatting there, having picked up the only item he was carrying, a book. Lindsey couldn't fight the urge to look at his timer and she tried to see it, but he had the book over it.
Instead she asked "Are you alright? Is your book damaged?"
He looked up with a twinkle in his blue eyes and a smile coating his features to make him look like the kindest person ever, which isn't true, there's no such thing as the kindest person ever. There is, however, the personal opinion of who is the kindest person ever because everything is based on opinion. Lindsey couldn't prevent herself from smiling back.
"I'm fine because I've been waiting for you." He answered, "The book isn't mine, so if it's damaged, Benny will kill me. Not literally, of course, but let's hope nothing's damaged." His eyes never left hers as he brushed snow off of the book.
Lindsey looked at the book reluctantly and brushed off the pack of snow that he kept missing.
"M-my name's L-l-lindsey." She stuttered out eventually.
"Kelson," He swapped the book to his left hand to hold out his right hand for a handshake. She reached out and shook his hand.
"Well, Kelson..." She trailed off as he was still holding her hand.
"How about dinner tonight? I know a really fancy place about ten minutes from Belle's." Kelson invited. Lindsey giggle like a little girl inside of her head, but she was trying to keep her cool.
Instead she said "Yeah, sounds good."
They exchanged numbers before separating and doing whatever they should do the rest of the day. In this case, Lindsey was going to get herself a nice dress and prepare for tonight. She didn't know what Kelson was doing.

Kelson walked to James's house with more of a skip in his step, holding the book that he was getting Benny for Christmas. Maybe a bag would have been nice so he could hide it in case Benny was there. They all lived in the same house, putting in their rent so they could live there even if James did own it.
The walk was a little bit longer than he thought, but it was a little bit farther away than his original apartment. He only moved out because the rent was getting out of hand and he didn't have the job for it.
Anyhow, he was about three houses away from James's house when he noticed the van was gone and the garage was closed, that meant no one was home. Why? Oh, never mind, they were picking up the agent today. Yesterday they were supposed to clean out the back of the van... But they didn't. The agent will definitely need patience with all of them. Kelson swore this happens every time.
He walked up to the front door and twisted the knob but when he pushed, the door wouldn't open. That meant only one thing, it was locked.
Kelson checked every inch of every single one of his pockets. He must have left his key on the shelf in his bedroom.
Instead, he walked around the house, jumping over the side fence, and up the porch stairs to the back door and yanked on that door. Scott never locks this door, but this door was locked, so maybe Benny remembered for him. Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on your opinion, the window to Scott's room was open. Kelson only needed a ladder to climb up to that ledge of roof to enter Scott's room.
He went to the neighbor's for a ladder.

Lindsey found a lovely midnight blue dress with black lace sleeves and more black lace over the long ankle length skirt of the dress. The heels she wore weren't too high heeled but they were black and matched the dress almost perfectly. She bought these and took them home, ready to change. After all of that effort, she curled her hair and put on light and complimentary make up.
That was when Tara called her, during all of that.

A/N I want to know what you think I should name James, Benny, Scott, and Kelson's band.
