James finally reached the airport after being annoyed with overhearing Lindsey and Kelson's plans for the future. He locked up the car after everyone grabbed their stuff, and he ran up.

"Three tickets to the Pitcairn Islands," James said.

"Sir, that's a day and thirty minutes," The woman smiled.

"I don't care, I need to go." James replied exasperatedly.

"That's $3812.04," The woman answered, still smiling.

"Alright, fess up the money," James turned around, holding his hand out. Miraculously, they barely had enough. The woman graciously handed them the tickets. It was then an hour before boarding.

When they boarded, James took the window seat to ignore the lovebirds next to him. He felt so confused and depressed that he wrote out his feelings as the plane flew up into the sky. The two papers were covered front to back and it took an hour to write thoroughly.

He then stood up and walked to the bathroom. There were four rooms and he picked the furthest from him. Still holding the papers, he walked in and dropped them in, flushing it. He thought that this would relieve himself of these painful emotions but they wouldn't go away.

He watched as the toilet seemed to clog itself and realized that that was what his emotions were doing.

James walked back to his seat when he was greeted with Lindsey's "Are you okay?"

"Fine. Just a little airplane sick." James responded.

"Try a little alcohol." Lindsey offered.

"Sure," so that's what James got. Unfortunately he was a light weight and pretty soon he was heavily drunk.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Lindsey asked after another sip. He looked at her through exhausted eyes and nodded. Lindsey realized the mistake she made and took the bottle away from him.

"I'm not actually okay." James answered bitterly and honestly.

"Go ahead and talk about it, that's the best way to get over it." Lindsey suggested.

"So Tara left the wedding and I think she was headed back to Michigan but she got in a plane wreck with a concussion. She wasn't getting better in the hospital and died." Lindsey gasped in shock and that's when Kelson started to eavesdrop. "That was when my timer thingy" he pointed to his wrist "started to count down again. So I've been trying to meet the maker of these thingies and talk to him about it."

"I'm so sorry." Lindsey placed her hand gently on his forearm.

"That's why I didn't want to tell anyone." James turned and looked out the window, thrown off by how high they were.

"What do you feel right now?" Lindsey asked.

"I'm sad and confused. There's, like, a pit or something of negative emotions and I fell into it." James answered as best as he could. Unfortunately, when you're high in the air, things take effect faster than on the surface so his hangover arrived faster than anyone would have thought.
