It was a great day for driving, clear roads to a small neighborhood, not very famous. Even though Christmas was coming up, the roads here were not packed at all, it was almost like a drive to nowhere. Kelson was glad of this for he and Lindsey were out late for their picnic, it was around four in the afternoon.

"Hey, where do you want to go?" Kelson asked, feeling awkward again.

"Hold on, I've got an incoming call." Lindsey held up a finger.

"James! Stop getting that wipe in my eye!" Tara laughed as she pulled his hand away as she blinked.

"If I can't do this, you're going to have to," James offered.

"Fine then," she took the makeup wipe and stared into the mirror as she cleaned her face.

"I was just trying to be nice," James stated.

"Then be nice in another way," Tara answered with a focused voice.

"I know you're not much for dates, but I wanted to know if- and you don't have to if you don't want to- you want to go to a Christmas market?" James offered.

"And I thought it was going to be a cheesy romantic date," Tara snorted sarcastically.

"So is that a no?" James asked, staring at Tara through the mirror.

"Of course not," Tara remarked, with a straight face," it means yes."

"Yes you don't want to? Or yes you want to?" James asked. Tara turned away from the mirror with a sassy face.

"Yes, of course I want to go to the market. I was just saying that it's some thing new," Tara saw that he was surprised.

"That's good!" He laughed, "That is so good!" He picked up Tara and twirled her around. She laughed loudly, without even realizing. He then set her down and she finally finished removing the makeup as she replied:

"I didn't know you were strong enough to lift me." Tara smiled a genuine smile.

"Neither did I," James blushed a little bit himself.

"If it'll make it less awkward for you, let's make it a double date," Tara said only thinking of Lindsey and Kelson.

"Great idea! Let's invite Scott and Tasha!" James smiled widely at Tara.

"Actually I was thinking of Lindsey and Kelson," Tara declared.

"Then let's make it a triple date!" James exclaimed, running out of the room and then peeked his head back in and said "I'll tell ol' McScotty."

"Then I'll tell Lindsey," Tara pulled out her phone and called up her friend.

"Kelson, it's Tara," Lindsey covered the mouthpiece and told her now-boyfriend. "Yeah, of course I'll tell him!" Lindsey smiled into the now uncovered mouthpiece, although Tara couldn't see it. Kelson smiled because seeing Lindsey happy makes him happy.

"What did she say?" Kelson asked as soon as she hung up.

"The Christmas market is in town until next week, Christmas, well duh, but James invited Tara on a date to there," Lindsey laughed before continuing, "to make it less awkward, Tara is inviting us and James is inviting Scott and Tasha."

"Do you want to go?" Kelson asked.

"Of course I want to, but do you?" Lindsey offered.

"Yeah, but what about Benny?" Kelson asked.

"He'll probably go for the fun of it," Lindsey shrugged.

"Tell them that we'll meet them there at the entrance parking lot," Kelson took a turn to the right in the car and drove onwards to the market.

Tara didn't even care that she was in pajamas, her pajamas were always and always have been a random t-shirt and sweatpants. She could wear them almost everywhere and it wouldn't matter at all. The only thing was that she would definitely be cold. James seemed to notice that so he gave her one of his hoodies and borrowed one of Benny's because Benny for one, wouldn't notice, and for two, was out all day doing whatever a Benny does.

They drove to the market place and met up with Lindsey and Kelson, and they waited for Scott and Tasha who soon drove up and they walked in together. The girls congregating and the guys congregating and Tara jumping between the two occasionally.

"Scott, did you and Tasha talk things out?" Tara asked politely.

"Yeah, we did, I feel a little more comfortable with her now," Scott answered

"That's good," Tara nodded.

"Do you think that we should split up?" Kelson suggested.

"As long as you take your girls, okay?" James answered, "I don't want more estrogen than Tara."

"Hey!" She playfully shoved him.

The girls on the other hand were thinking of where to go or what they wanted to do.

Once they reached the entrance, Scott and Tasha walked off on their own, Tara and James just kind of moseyed off in one way and Kelson and Lindsey had no idea where to go but agreed to stalk James and Tara in case something romantic might occur between the two and that they could witness that miracle.

Unfortunately, they were a little too obvious. Tara and James walked up to a stall when a familiar voice called out "Hey! Kelson! And whatever your name is!"

Kelson sighed, "Benny!" he exclaimed with fake enthusiasm, beckoning for Lindsey to follow. They walked right up to the stand which had only two customers: James and Tara.

"You want some romantic candles or mistletoe?" Benny asked with his salesperson voice.

"Nope, go back to James and Tara," Kelson refused.

"Just between you and me," Benny announced loudly, "You two are terrible spies."

"Thanks Benny," Kelson said rather exasperatedly.

"You're welcome," he grinned a little too happily.

"Just go back to Tara and James," Kelson repeated.

"Speaking of which, look up, lovebirds," Benny smiled at James and Tara, who face-palmed.

"I'd rather be at Comic-Con." Tara whined.

"Wouldn't everyone?" James asked, offering his elbow to escort Tara away, noticing how she was still shivering and wanted to get her the best hot chocolate around town.

"You know, if you don't kiss under mistletoe, you'll suffer the wrath of the mistletoe gods who will send murderous robot ant zombies to suck the life out of you!" Benny called after them as they walked away.

"You're making that up, Jam," James called after him.

"I'll take that extra kiss, make it up for them," Kelson smiled.

"You say what?" Lindsey coughed a little bit, having swallowed saliva down the wrong pipe. She cleared her throat and stared at him with wide eyes. Kelson stepped closer to her, only a little bit nervous, he gently placed his hands on her cheeks and quickly he filled the empty space between their lips.

He kissed Lindsey. Wait! He kissed Lindsey? But why was he surprised? He liked it, and by the way Lindsey kissed back, there was no doubt she enjoyed it too.
