"So, how about truth?" Kelson suggested over dinner.
"What's truth?" Lindsey asked, cocking her head slightly to the right.
"I ask a question, you answer honestly, then you ask a question and I answer honestly." Kelson explained. Lindsey nodded and waited for Kelson to start.
"Favorite food?" Kelson asked.
"Oreos, what about you?" Lindsey asked.
"Chips. Favorite color?"
"Purple, yours?"
"Pink, favorite thing to do?"
"Play the violin, do you play an instrument?"
"Drums, in our band, James and Benny play guitar and Scott is on the keyboard."

Tara and James finished eating dinner and just sat there, talking. James was actually telling jokes and Tara was laughing.
"Why did the boy bring a ladder to school?" James asked.
"Why?" Tara was still laughing from the last joke.
"He wanted to go to high school." James smirked, "Granted it wasn't as great as it could have been. What did the duck say when it bought lipstick?"
"What?" Tara took a deep breath.
"Put it on my bill." James answered. Tara snorted as she began to laugh again. "My friend thinks he is so smart, he says an onion is the only food that can make you cry so I threw a coconut at his face." Tara almost couldn't breathe because she was laughing so hard.
Once she finally caught her breath, she looked up and said "I am too tired, you can tell because I'm laughing at everything."
"Yeah," James laughed too.
"Thank you." She smiled a genuine smile, one she hadn't done in so long. "This is the first time I've laughed so hard."
"What do you do at college?" James asked.
"I study," Tara smirked, "What's so bad about that?"
"You're not in any prank groups?" James asked.
"I joined one, yes, but they haven't planned anything, for all I know, they could be pranking me right now." Tara answered.
"Well that explains a lot," James said.
"What do you mean?" Tara raised her eyebrows.
"I mean, stress gets to you, if you laugh like that daily, it makes you feel better." James explained.
"Then I am going to take you to college." Tara smiled.
"As long as Kelson, Scott, and Benny come with," James agreed.
"Fine," Tara laughed.
"You ready to go?" James asked.
"Have you paid the bill? Let me pay." Tara offered.
"This is my gift to you, you're too late, I already paid," James laughed.
"Uh, fine," She laughed a little bit, "yeah, let's go."

"You ready to go?" Kelson asked, noticing how Lindsey seemed a little bit tired.
"I don't want to leave you, if that's what you mean." Lindsey answered.
"I'll be here tomorrow. Don't worry," Kelson shrugged.
