Finally Soulmates

Part 17

Lindsey was actually excited to see Tara and how she would react to this. It was rather adorable that James would do this for her. In the meanwhile, there was almost everyone from town, but where was James right now? Lindsey just got the text from Tasha that they were on their way.

Everyone was bored. Scott was sitting on the home-made stage, Kelson was just standing next to Lindsey, there was literally nothing to do but wait.

"What are you all doing? Start up the music! Have some fun. It's awkward to start a party when she gets here!" James exclaimed. The DJ started playing some music and everyone was starting to enjoy the party.

Lindsey went to the food table and watched as James was talking with Benny. They were laughing over something previously said. Then a fancy car drove up and Lindsey observed as Benny smiled excitedly and ran over to the fancy car. A man in a suit and glasses (as though he was from the FBI) stepped out and smiled as Benny ran over. The man in a suit opened his arms and caught Benny, enclosing him in a hug. That was something different.

Then Benjamin grabbed the man's hand and ran over to Kelson, just as Lindsey walked over to her boyfriend.

"Kelson! Kelson! This is Sebastian, our new agent." Benny smiled excitedly.

"Nice to meet you," Sebastian held out his hand professionally for Kelson to shake.

"Nice to meet you too," Kelson grabbed Sebastian's hand and firmly shook it.

"So what do you play?" Sebastian asked.

"Lead guitar. That's just it." Kelson shrugged, and that started a conversation.

Then Lindsey wanted to talk to Benny about this. "So..."

"Yes," Benny said.

"I didn't ask anything," Lindsey was shocked.

"I assume you wanted to know why I'm so unprofessional around him." He asked.

"Well, yeah, but what's the yes for?" Lindsey was now confused.

"I don't know, I felt rather professional saying 'yes'." Benny laughed.

"Do you- you know- like him?" Lindsey frowned awkwardly towards him.

"I feel rather professional saying 'yeah'." Benny shrugged, "So what?"

"I never thought- you know what? Never mind." Lindsey walked back to the food table and just stood there for no reason.

Tara had no idea what Tasha was doing when she drove off with her in the vehicle. Tara just played along, kind of. Then she realized that there was something going on when they arrived at a pavilion with a party going on.

"Are you taking me to a Christmas Eve party?" Tara scoffed.

"What's wrong with that?" Tasha asked, only slightly offended.

"I never expected you to drag me to a place of socializing." Tara now laughed. The car stopped as they walked to the pavilion.

As soon as Tara entered, James walked up and took her arm and led her up to the makeshift stage, letting her sit on the edge. Then he walked onto the stage and sat at the keyboard and played the beginning of a song.

Benny couldn't wait until the song was done. He wanted to know how Sebastian liked the new song, because he literally wrote it yesterday. Nobody has heard it before except the band.

At the end of the song, Tara walked up to James and hugged him, probably thanking him for the song. Tasha and Scott were doing whatever they were doing, and Lindsey and Kelson were hanging out by the food table. Benny walked over to Sebastian and greeted him with another smile.

"What did you think?" Benny asked.

"That was something special. I feel like you wrote it for me." Sebastian smiled down at the slightly shorter Benny.

"Maybe I did." Benny teased.

"I would be eternally grateful if you did." Sebastian teased back.

"Then I did." Benny blushed slightly, actually looking at Sebastian's hands. Then he noticed the colors on his nails. Benny quickly grabbed Sebastian's hands and looked at his nails. They were a turquoise color with silver stripes. "Oh my gosh, how did you-?"

"You want to have a nail day?" Sebastian asked quietly and entirely embarrassed.

"Why not?" Benny grinned widely.

A/N So this chapter absolutely sucks and I want to apologize. I'm kind of bad at developing Sebastian and Benny, but I'm kind of basing them off of Joey Graceffa and Daniel, so... yeah, I suck at everything about this. I'm sorry.
