Chapter Eleven

After I threatened Quinn, or at least spoke back to her, I felt so scared. Well, more than usual. I mean I've never spoken to her like that. I may be scared, but damn did it feel great. I wish I could do it again, but I know I'll never dare say something like that ever again. Ever.

I was walking out of my class watching every move behind me. Luckily, no Quinn, unfortunately, a Finn.

"Hey Rachel!"

I heard him yell. I already talked back to Quinn, I don't want to give her more reason to destroy me. In fact I was planning on throwing off the competition, after that little confrontation earlier. So I walk faster.

"Hey" he says out of breath

Damn it, I keep forgetting he's on the football team. Of course he can catch up to my short legs.

"Can't talk, have to practice," I lie
"I actually wanted to talk to you about the song," he said

I turned to face him, and I didn't have the heart to say no. So I just stood there waiting patiently. I guess Finn forgot I was wearing this because now he's just staring. And not at my eyes.

"Hello? Earth to Finn!" I say
"Oh right, um" he furrowed his eyebrows as he stared at everything, but my face, thanks Finn,thanks a lot, "actually I um, I, uh, forgot! Yeah, umm forgot" he says distracted

Didn't know I had that effect on him. Good to know. Except for the fact that Quinn would chop off my head and set it on fire. So yeah good to know.

I was sitting in the front, nervous as hell, with San and Britt. I heard everyone talking earlier and they said they didn't even care about the competition, they just want to hear me sing.

I haven't spoken to Quinn yet, so, still nervous. I just hope she doesn't like push me off the stage or on the floor. I've had enough embarrassment by her, don't want add to the long list of it.

Although, I'm curious as to why she got nervous when I heard some things of her conversation with puck. I wonder what she's hiding. I mean, I know we all have secrets, especially me.

"Alright Quinn, you're up first," mr.schue said pulling me out of my daze
"Gladly" Quinn smiled walking to the center

She gave me the stink eye. Finn stood in the front. Not that it's any of my business, but when she grabbed his hand, he looked uncomfortable. Just saying.

"Yes Artie," Mr.Schue said
"What exactly are the three going to be doing? I mean no offense to anyone, but I don't really want to hear the same song with the same male lead, two times in a row" Artie said timid
