I was fixing my dress and standing behind the curtain across from Finn. I haven't spoken to him in two days. I was mad at him, but now that I've had time to think I'm not sure.
Flashback to two days ago
I was walking to my locker when Finn stopped me
"I did it" he said
"Did what?" I asked confused but smiling because he looked so happy
"I entered your original songs in a contest, and the winner gets to make a record" he exclaims
I widen my eyes and get a little mad.
"Finn those songs were private! Not contest material, I can't believe you did this" I say worried
"Woah, why are you getting mad? Your songs are good and the winner gets to make a record! Aren't you happy?" He asked
"I need time" I say freaking out
End of flashback I haven't spoken to him since then. We're not broken up, I just need time. I appreciate what he did for me. I think it's time to realize that I should just thank him. It's not like I'm going to win anyway.
"Break a leg" I say to Finn
"I love you" he blurts out

He shows me his cute smile, and then he walks back and I stand there smiling. How could I be mad at him? He's so sweet, and kind. The music starts and I just smile at Finn.
Highway run....
||| It's safe to say........ We won! We won sectionals and now we're headed to regionals, as a team. Soon after its national. I can already taste the victory. I'm so excited. So excited I ran into Finns arms and wrapped my tiny legs around him.
"I can't believe it, we won, now we're off to regionals!!" I say excited "I know! It's so exciting" he smiles at me
We pull away and look at each other. Then I kiss him passionately. I can tell he's caught off guard, but he doesn't pull away.
"I love you too" I smile
Everyone else was off doing there own things and Finn and I just stood there. It may seem weird, but it was a perfect little moment. Out perfect little moment.
Ring ring
Our perfect moment ruined. I check my phone and see an unknown number, that's weird.
"Answer it, maybe it's the people form the contest telling you, you won" Finn says excited
"I'm not gonna win" I say answering it
I was on the phone not believing what I was hearing. Honestly I don't know what to feel. This is all so overwhelming. I hang up and look at Finn.
"You're right, I won" I says bland
Finn gets excited and starts jumping up and down happy. He pulls me in for a hug, but I don't hug back, so he pulls away,
"That's great! This is great news, why aren't you happy?" He asks
