9. Being friends...

Next day both Anirudh and Kavisha were in studio thinking about their situation. Was their decision of being friends going to help them or was it going to worsen their situation. After a while a meeting was called to discuss about the music for the album. So each and everyone was asked to play a music. Kavisha was at her desk after the meeting preparing a lovely lyrics for her proposal then a wonderful lyric caught in her mind

'Kairegai pole thaan kadhal endrum aliyathe anbe nam nenjil,kannimai pole thaan kadhal endrum vilagathe anbe nam kannil.. Melugagave nenjam nenjam methuvageve urugum konje.. Sile sollathe sogangal sugamaagum,idhamaagum!'

But is that Anirudh is going to love the lyric? This is the first time Kavisha becomes a lyricist. She knew presenting this lyrics would risk her job but she didn't care,she just wanted Anirudh to like her lyrics.

After written the lyrics she was going through it when a coffee mug appeared in front of her.. A handsome man was standing in front of her holding two cups one of which was offered to her. She knew that man but failed to recall his name. She had seen him before. Then that man introduced himself

'Hi Kavisha.. I'm Sathish,Sathish Krishnan. Anirudh's best friend. You must have seen me in Canada. Sorry we couldn't meet yesterday,I was busy with some outdoor work. I'm a dancer. Nice to meet you finally.'

Kavisha nods positively and smiles at him. She recognized him he was Sathish,Anirudh's best friend. Kavisha's friend Poorva(Anirudh's adobyed sister) had told her that she had a long time crush on Sathish as he used to often visit Poorva's brother. They always used to fight like Tom and Jerry and when that fight turned into a beautiful bond they both didn't know. And to Poorva's surprise Sathish proposed her last year and she accepted it. But they didn't inform their family. 

she was brought out of her thoughts as Sathish gave her the mug and pulled chair next to her and sat. They became easily comfortable as they had a common topic to discuss about and that was Poorva's. Sathish started telling Kavisha about Poorva's childhood blunders and they shared a humongous laugh. As it was nearing the tea break Anirudh excitedly exited his room to meet Kavisha and the scenario in front of him infuriated him. His best friend was laughing with Kavisha,his blood was boiling. He didn't know the reason for his jealousy. They themselves decided that they would be friends then why was he disturbed by the site of Kavisha making friends. He couldn't contain his fury and walked towards them as he neared them he plastered a fake smile and said

'Hi guys seems like you two got along well.. Nice'

Sathish immediately understood his friend was certainly not happy with him for talking to Kavisha but he didn't know the reason behind his fury. Poorva had told him that Anirudh rejected Kavisha's proposal for marriage because of some stupid reasons. Then why was he acting so possessively towards her. He had never seen his friend's eyes sparkle like this before and he could see it was because Kavisha but he understood that Anirudh was not going to accept his situation. Then he smiled as they both were staring at each as if their life dependent on it. They didn't even notice that Sathish had left them a while ago. They were brought back to the world when Kavisha's cell phone rang and it was Poorva

'Hi Sha,it's Poorva here. I hope, that idiot Sathish met you, how are you? Is anne(brother) bothering you? If you have any problem there please tell me okay..'

Kavisha smiled at her friend's concer

'Hey young lady, take a break. I'm absolutely fine here.'

'Okay Sha as you say, hey I need a favor from you today. I have a date with Sathish, can you please tell anne that I will be with you the whole evening,please?'

'But Poorva'

'Please Sha, ok do one thing. Come with Sathish to the mall near the studio. I will explain everything to you there and if you meet me there then you don't have to lie to anybody okay..'

Kavisha didn't have an option as Anirudh was standing in front of her, she couldn't argue with Poorva, so she agreed and hung up the phone.

Anirudh was curiously listening to their conversation. He instantly knew that Kavisha didn't agree with Poorva about the thing they were discussing but kept quite.. Kavisha nervously said

'Poorva asked me to inform you that she will be with me for the whole evening...' Anirudh knew Kavisha was lying to him because from what he observed her for two days he knew whenever Kavisha was nervous she would roll her dupatta. And at this point she was doing the same thing. But he nodded and silently left. Because he knew pressurizing her wouldn't get her an answer becasue she was Poorva's loyal friend and wouldn't betray her. Kavisha felt miserable,she didn't want to lie to Anirudh because in this two days she knew him that much that she could tell that he loved her sister to an extent that he would do anything for her and he would surely accept their relation but she promised Poorva that she would not tell anybody about her relationship with Sathish so she kept quiet. 

At 6.30 Anirudh excitedly exited his room so that he could offer Kavisha lift to meet her sister as they were going to be together for the evening. As he reached the car parking he was stunned. Kavisha was smiling at Sathish and they both entered his car and left the studio compound. Anirudh without thinking immediately took his car and followed them. And number of thoughts ran in his mind. He thought of possibilities of Kavisha and Sathish knowing each other before they met today. And he was furious thinking of Kavisha with some other person though he knew Sathish very well. Then their car went inside the mall parking and they parked the car and went towards the food court. He was stunned to see Poorva hugging Kavisha at the food court. Then without thinking he called Poorva. Poorva was shocked to her brother's number on her mobile screen. She knew her brother well. He wouldn't call her unnecessarily that to when he knew wher she was and she immediately knew that her brother would be somewhere around her. So she glanced around and she immediately traced her brother and she smiled evilly. She understood that the her had followed Sathish and Kavisha here. He sure would have felt jealous at the thought of Kavisha being with some other person so to teach him a lesson she answered the call 'hi anne what's up?'

Anirudh without thinking asked her

'Where are you and with whom?'

She smiled evilly

'Hey anne I'm with Kavisha and Sathish'

Anirudh smiled and breathe a sigh of relief but Poorva's next statement made his world upside down.

'Sathish and Kavisha are dating each other and Kavisha didn't inform her parents about it so I came with her incase her parents had a doubt'

Listening to her statement Sathish and Kavisha were shocked what was this girl doing. Sathish instantly understood Poorva's plan of making Anirudh jealous but Kavisha felt horrible. She thought Poorva lied to defend herself and she was shaking how she was going to face Anirudh.

Anirudh felt that there was a missing string to Poorva's story. He for some reason didn't buy Poorva's reply because looking at Kavisha he knew that she was shocked as hell listening to Poorva's confession. But then too he was jealous as hell what if it was true..

On the other hand Kavisha felt devastated as she didn't want Anirudh to think she lied to him. And she certainly thought

was being friend that difficult, that for protecting one friend she hurt another friend?
