41. Sangeet

Kavisha and Anirudh were currently sitting in the lawn outside the hall where the sangeet ceremony was going to be held.

Apparently all their friends and family members were busy planning a surprise for Kavisha so Anirudh was asked to take Kavisha out for some time.

Anirudh saw Kavisha fidgeting with the corner of her dupatta. And a small smile crept on his face, again nervous ;)

Anirudh knew the whole wedding things were making her nervous. She was going to leave her family and come to his house after a day of course she would be nervous.

First Anirudh thought he would talk to her about it but then he knew that talking to her would make her feel weak.

So he tried a new approach.

Anirudh turned towards her and said

'So Kavisha all set to make my life hell?

Kavisha was startled by his question but immediately glared at him and said

'So I am gonna make your life hell..haa'

Anirudh laughed at her fuming face and side hugged her and said

'No..sweetypie..'

Kavisha cut him off and asked

'Ani..can we go in? I am a bit cold..by the way why are are we outside?'

Anirudh wrapped his hand around her and pulled her towards him and said

'Now is it better?'

Kavisha snuggled him and said

'This definitely feels better'

She was cut off by the sound of someone clearing their throat.

Kavisha immediately pulled away from him and stood up.

Anirudh reluctantly let go of her and followed Kavisha's suit.

Poorva and Paru were standing there crossing their arms.

Poorva teasingly said

'Paru somebody is being impatient. Tell them to wait for 1 day and they could officially...you know'

Anirudh gave Poorva a glare but immediately smirked looking at Kavisha when he saw her blushing like there was no tomorrow.

Finally after a brief teasing session Anirudh and Kavisha were taken inside the hall.

Kavisha was made to sit on a small chair in between all the women. She was shocked because she wasn't informed about this ceremony.

She gave Poorva a questioning look and before she could ask Poorva said

'Kavisha this is a farewell party. All your friends and relatives will gift you something and will bless you for a happy married life. Actually the bride to be is called to each of their relatives house for lunch and dinner and there this ritual takes place but now a days due to constraint of time all the relatives and friends gather together and this party takes place. Now let start the function. Kavisha's aunts came forward and put kungumam on her forehead and did her aarti and then give a gifts..'

And then Poorva came forward and said

'Now everybody settled down.. we will start with The Sangeet Ceremony!!'

Everybody took their place. Kavisha and Anirudh were on stage as they were asked to sit in the corner of the stage.
