Anirudh's parents arrived at Kavisha's house for fixing a date for Anirudh and Kavisha's engagement.

Kavisha's parents warmly welcomed them. Kavisha's family was so relived that Kasturi had left this afternoon.

Never in their life they wanted to get rid of a guest. India is a country were guests are treated as god bye her actions had caused a lot of problems. So they were better off without her.

Anirudh's and Kavisha's parents had a heart to heart talk.

In the span of five years of Poorva and Kavisha's friendship their parents also had been in touch not as bffs or anything but surely good friends.

They all were waiting for nirudh and Kavisha to arrive so that the date could be fixed.

They all knew about Ani and Kavisha's fight last night though not details but could surely feel the tension.

But the morning incident were both of them so desperately were is search of each other..kind of gave them relief that by now they would have resolved their problem.

After half an hour Anirudh and Kavisha walked through the door holding hands and giving each other all lovey dovey looks.

The whole clan of elders left a sigh of relief.

Kavisha's paatti was first one too speak. She cleared her throat and mischievously said

'We all are here..some people should try and acknowledge our presence as well..'

Kavisha rolled her eyes and immediately pulled her hand away from Anirudh and said

'Paatti!!!'

'Finally you realized we are here. They way both of you were looking at each other. I thought I would be a great grandmother any time soon' saying this she winked looking at Kavisha and Anirudh.

All sets of eyes turned towards her and gasped.

'Omg ma please..control..our samdhi's are here..What are they going to think?'

Kavisha' father whispered to his mother.

But Anirudh's father started laughing and said

'I think we must skip the engagement and just get them married asap..'

Everybody started laughing except Kavisha and Anirudh.

Kavisha at that moment found her carpet design very interesting. Her cheeks were on fire..teasing by friends was different and teasing by parents was very..ah..embarrassing..

Anirudh first time ever in his life regretted that his family was opened minded.

After that embarrassing encounter their mothers controlled the whole situation and brought them back to the main topic..

Kavisha's mother said

'We were actually going to call you today morning to discuss about their engagement. But coincidentally you called for the same thing..'

Anirudh's mother nervously smiled and said

'We were so involved in Poorva's wedding and then Paru's family had come over for the first time after their wedding that we kind of forgot about their engagement. Kavisha has become a undivided part of our family that I sometimes forget that she still has to be officially be my daughter.'

At which Kavisha's parents nodded in understanding and warmth that their daughter had already become a part of other life.
