23. First Rains...

Anirudh and Kavisha were busy at their studio composing music for Dhanush's next movie. It was a busy day. Anirudh was busy in his work when his phone rang. It was from the cafeteria. The owner spoke

'Good afternoon sir..'

Anirudh was busy but the he replied curtly

'Good afternoon..'

The owner continued

'Sorry to disturb you sir but I just called to ask that should I bring your lunch to your room now or later?'

Anirudh was curious about his question

'Why will you bring my lunch here? We all eat in cafe right so what's the issue.. Is there any problem in the cafe?'

'No no..there is nothing wrong in the cafe..the thing is everybody is busy right now so everybody is just skiping their lunch. So the cafe is vacant so we thought we would provide you you lunch in your room itself..'

Anirudh was irritated.. People were skipping meals for finishing their work but at the same time he felt proud of his colleagues looking at their dedication towards their work.

He was brought out of his thoughts by the cafe owner

'Are you there sir?'

Anirudh quickly replied

'Oh yes.. I am here.. Do one thing get the lunch ready for everybody.. I will be there in few minutes..'

After Anirudh hung up the call he walked out of his cabin and straight went to Siddharth's room. He knocked on the door. Siddharth asked him to come in without looking at him.

'May I have your attention please?' Anirudh asked with a smile.

'Oh god,sorry Ani. It's you... I didn't notice sorry.. why did you come here, you could have called me. I would have come..'

Anirudh smiled at her and said

'Come lets go..' saying this Anirudh started walking towards the door.

Siddharth was confused but followed him. Anirudh went out and said

'Attention everybody..'

Everybody was busy in their work but his loud voice caught their attention.

'Everybody please start walking towards the cafe right now. No arguments and no one minute, two minutes,last page excuses allowed.. Nobody is skipping meals.. If you don't listen to my request then take it as an order..'

Everybody smiled at him and got up and started walking towards the cafeteria..

As everyone settled with their lunch finally Anirudh served his food and sat next to Siddharth, Kavisha and Shakthi.. As he resumed eating Siddharth said

'Ani I am proud of you, you are an excellent friend and more than that you are an amazing human being. I have known people who force their co-workers to skip their meals to get the work done. But you are one of the few people who really care for his co-workers and treat them like friends and not like slaves..'

Anirudh smiled at him. He looked at Kavisha and knew she wanted to say something but couldn't express her feelings as they were surrounded by many people. He could see admiration for him in her eyes.

After lunch everybody resumed working..

Finally at 5pm Anirudh ordered everybody to leave. Anirudh asked Kavisha and Siddharth to come with him in his car. Anirudh got his car from the parking lot. Kavisha and Siddharth were waiting for him near the gate. Anirudh opened passenger door and back seat for them to get in. Siddharth was about to occupy the backseat when Kavisha said
